One of the best things to do in Montreal (in nice weather) is to hike to the top of Mont Royal to the Chalet lookout. It only takes 30 minutes to get there from my apartment, and the view is simply breathtaking. The chalet itself has bathrooms, water, vending machines and a giftshop. It's an outing that doesn't cost anything, but it's the best thing you can do.
