Parks & Nature

It's a short walk with two options, 1/2 mile walk and a 1 mile walk). It's absolutely beautiful. There's a beaver pond, a creek and two places to sit on a dock and watch for otters and ducks.

Childhood's End is an Olympia treasure. The owner, Richenda is a pleasure and the store sells beautiful handmade art and crafts, many of them made locally.

Our farmers market is small, but there is an abundance of. Fresh locally grown vegetables, as well local oysters, meat, cheese, salsa, jams, and crafts. There is usually live music, and there are several options for lunch. The food booths range from Indian, fresh local fish, and polish hot dogs, to shave ice, ice cream and baked goods. Grab some lunch and find a table, and enjoy the music and fresh air.

Anthony's is on the water. The view of Budd Bay inlet can be seen from most tables, and in good weather you can sit outside. There is also a nice bar if you just want a drink and/or appetizers. Anthony's features seafood, but offers other options as well. I recommend their clam chowder, it's delish!

Michal has my favorite part Ty, as well as a lot of other classic tie dishes. They may only be open for takeout right now, but their portions are huge!

I absolutely love this place! The flavors are phenomenal. Try the salted butterscotch, the cardamom, and the banana chocolate chip if they have it on the day you visit. Also be sure to check with me before you go. I sometimes have coupons for a free scoop.
