Getting around
Car is the best way to get around
I highly recommend renting a car to get to Careyes. You will be able to use it to explore the area, sightseeing and restaurants
Ways to save
Stop at the supermarket before you get to Careyes
Restaurants can be quite expensive in Careyes, therefore I recommend passing to a supermarket before you get there. If you arriving through perito Vallarta o Manzanillo stop at a chain supermarket. There is always an option in the next little town Zapata where you can do your shopping (they have everything!) called Abarrotes Chavita
Getting around
Boat tour to see the coast
I highly recommend hiring a private boat tour (this can be done at playa rosa restaurant) to see the beautiful costa alegre coast. You can ask your boat driver to stop by some virgin beaches and go for a swim, or go fishing, or in winter spot some humpback whales and dolfins
