Downtown Paso Robles

Downtown is fun, with a big, classic square (like Sonoma, Dry Creek, etc) and lots of shops and restaurants to poke around in. Summer concerts in the park on Thursdays--pack a picnic! Brand new play structure for kids on square.

Templeton Park

Templeton Park has a nice, family friendly Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings, from 9am-12pm. Large play structure with swings. Summer concerts are on Wednesday evenings, also pack dinner and wine.

Has a brewery, a distillery, ice cream shop, and ton of wineries. Just east of 101. Has Turtle Rock , TOP Winery, Nicora, ONX, Desparada, Aaron, Benom. If constrained for time, this is the place. Must visit.
