A hands-on museum where kids can actively learn about science and technology. It´s located a bit outside the city ventre, but is easy to get to. I would also recommend spending some time by the river next to the museum if the weather is nice.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Public transportation

The centre of Oslo is pretty close and everything is more or less within walking distance. The city has a good public transport system to take you around town and to the outskirts of the city. It contains of buses, tram and metro. The closest metro stop is Grønland, and all the metro lines stop there. Besides that there are a few buses leaving very close to the apartment, but the easiest is definitely to get to and from Jernbanetorget (next to the central station). This is an important stop on many bus, tram and metro lines. The T on the map is the logo for the metro stops. The ticket has to b

Alcohol

There are specific rules for buying alcohol in Norway. Beer can be bought in supermarkets monday-friday before 20 and saturday before 18. Wine and spirits have to be bought at Vinmonopolet, which is open monday-friday 10-18 and saturday 10-15.
Ways to save

Groceries

For fruit and vegetables I would recommend the shop in Smalgangen in Grønland. It´s much cheaper than the supermarkets.
