This is situated just outside North Conway and when you get to the car park it is only a short hike, 10 minutes, to the area. It is a series of rocks and falls which everyone climbs. Lots of good photo opportunities.

Scenic Drives There are countless scenic drives in the area that are great during any season, although some are closed during the winter months as indicated. Plug these sites into your GPS and enjoy the ride! -Cathedral Ledge (access road closed to top in winter, base road open to gate) -Hurricane Mountain Road (closed in winter) -Kancamagus Highway, Route 112 Conway to Lincoln -Presidential Loop: Crawford Notch and Pinkham Notch via Route 16 and Route 302 -East Conway Road to Evans Notch -Route 153 to Eaton Village and the Little White Church -Route 16B Carter Notch Road in Jackson

Insta-Worthy Spots Sometimes a great view or beautiful spot isn't at the top of a mountain or off in the woods. Here are a few Instagram-worthy spots to get great views by car, bike or bus. -Intervale Scenic Vista (an official Visit New Hampshire Information site) -Chocorua Lake in Tamworth -Jackson Falls -The Flume at Crawford Notch -Schouler Park, The Conway Scenic Railroad and Moat Mountain Range in North Conway Village -Echo Lake State Park (fee) -Jackson Covered Bridge, Saco River Covered Bridge and Swift River Covered Bridge (the latter is closed in winter)

Hiking, biking, sight-seeing and skiing are some of the most popular and well-known area activities. Rock and ice climbing are popular at at Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge, some of the country's most difficult climbing surfaces. River canoeing, kayaking, fly fishing, swimming and river tubing are highly popular in the summer months on the nearby Saco River. Attitash Mountain Resort, Story Land and the Conway Scenic Railroad are very popular for young families in the warm months.

Spring and Fall are glorious with temperatures from the 50s to 70s Farenheit. Nights can dip into the 30s. Summer averages high 70s to low 80s with a sprinkling of 90 degree days. Nights are apt to be cooler. Winter weather can be extreme with lows in the teens and highs in the 30s.
