Neighborhoods

Buffalo's "Downtown" areas are pockets of concentrated Restaurants, Bars and Shops. The farther North area (midtown) is the Elmwood Village. Heading South, closer to Downtown where we are, there is Allentown, The Theatre District and Canalside.
The Elmwood Village is a long stretch of Elmwood Avenue where you can find concentrations of Shops, Restaurants and Bars every few blocks.

Allentown centered around Allen Street and is Buffalo's oldest stretch of a concentration of Restaurants, Bars and Shops. Similar to the Elmwood Village, Allentown is more Historic and concentrated, with 5 or more Restaurants and Bars on each block. The nightlife would not be entirely family friendly.
