Parks & Nature

Another one of my favourite haunts, I love how different views are obvious through the seasons, I'll start with Autumn as that's when I signed up; Autumn, the chill is in the air, the wind is blowing a gust, the leaves are falling &yep I'm sneezing. Winter, we talk about the weather a lot "ooh it's freezing, snow's coming" um it hardly ever does and if it does.. what a topic! Spring is beautiful, everyone is talking about their first sightings of blooms of Crocus & Daffodils Summer, BBQ's (not sure if they're allowed to but hey ho, live and let live as long as they clear up after themselves) get togethers, kids laughing joyously or..screaming!Leafy trees and life to the full!

Service washes are available for a fee, usually drop off your laundry in the morning and collect when you're ready... Or you can load the machine and pop over to Mr Lawrence's over the road and have a swift English beer.. TIP - I don't think Mr Lawrence's opens in the morning ;-) ..perhaps this would be 'a rainy day, not sure what to do and I've got no clean clothes activity' :-))

Drinks & Nightlife

Well Airbnb has asked me "because?" here's my answer... I can walk to this (and back!) no need to drink and drive, it's a friendly English Pub, serving pub grub and on a Sunday a traditional English Roast. An added bonus is the Brockley Jack Theatre with regular plays on, I'll pick up a leaflet of whats on before your arrival.
