This is a gastro pub right by the heath so before sunset it is great to have a drink outside.The food is lovely although pricey but you can have a drink and a plate of their delicious chunky chips if your budget won't allow .It is a treat to eat here.

you can bathe in the natural ponds(cold but invigorating) or just basque in the surroundings.On a hot day it is packed so get there early to pick a good spot.They have changing facilities and a great vibe.On rainy days it will be warmer in the water

I love this park for it's lush landscape and little secret enclosures for you to have a private picnic,secret little den for peace and feasts,a playground built with natural resources,a bird pond and gardens growing a variety of plants and vegetables. Lauderdale House sits at the top if you want some refreshments and to sit in a lovely garden.Great place to hang out and have fun and peace

Run by the same family for over 30 years.It is a place full of good home cooking(Italian mainly) at a reasonable price.The atmosphere is buzzing full of local people,dogs,families.It is everyone's stop off.It is the people's choice as recently they won a campaign to stop it's replacement of a corporate chain restaurant.
