To be honest, I would recommend to visit the many unique pubs and cafés built against the walls of the cathedral, rather than the cathedral itself ;)

If you like the Central Station (and who wouldn't?), you'll enjoy a quick visit to this city festive hall converted to shopping center, too. Old meets new in a beautifully restored baroque setting.

Since it seems to be impossible to tag the Bourla theatre, I've pinpointed the entire theatre district. The foyer of the Bourla theatre is a perfect place to have a coffee or tea in a unique setting.

This little tunnel for pedestrians and cyclists dates from the '30s and is -to my knowledge- the only place in Belgium where you'll still find wooden escalators. Do take an extra half hour to explore.
