It goes without saying that when you are visiting the seaside you have to visit the beach! Filey Beach won an award for the best British beach of 2018 and was also voted in the top 6 in the world in 2019. Special.

When the tide is out, you can walk all the way out to the end of the brigg and when it's not, you can walk along the cliff top and admire the stunning views. If you have your walking boots on, you can walk all the way to Cayton beach which can take around 2 hours.

This is one for the adults. The local distillery makes the counties first single malt whisky. You can have a full tour or a taste testing, they even have a coffee shop on site.

Like football and golf? Why not combine the two? Scarborough FootGolf is at Killerby Lane, Cayton, half way between the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Filey. Buses stop at the lane end every few minutes and they have a large, free car park on site. They offer two 9 hole FootGolf Courses specially designed for maximum enjoyment. The traditional Footgolf course is laid out on a 10 acre site and the Adventure Footgolf course is a shorter course through woodland and includes obstacles on each hole. It is great fun to combine the two for a challenging Footgolf experience.
