Primarily a meat restaurant and on the pricier side but definitely worth it. Their Scottish breakfast is insanely huge and so delicious. Plus it's located in Borough Market so you can wander the stalls afterwards for dessert!

Built by William the Conqueror and inhabited by many since, the Tower is one of the most iconic places in London. If you only have time to do one historic thing in London, do this. You will not be disappointed. Don't forget to visit the Crown Jewels too! If you're able to plan in advance, it is possible to book tickets to see the Yeoman Warders locking up the jewels at night.

London's underground system is iconic and this museum is dedicated to it and many others. Kids in particular love this museum. Even as adults, its a fascinating look at the way we move around. If you can't make it to the museum, the gift shop has free entry and has some awesome gifts replicating iconic TfL posters, color schemes and so on. They also do 'lates' where the museum is adults only, with arts and crafts, music and a bar.
