Entertainment & Activities

The Manly Wharf is where you 'land' in Manly on the ferry from Circular Quay. You've got a ton of options here for a meal, a drink, or an idea of where to go. Cross over the main street and you land on the 'Corso' that will take you down to the beach.

Drinks & Nightlife

Manly has a ton of places to eat & drink at. You'll find all of the pubs (Hotel's) do a good counter meal. Many of the little places in the back streets are tucked away and that's where you'll find the locals. Not sure where to go? Just ask me.

Sightseeing

Freshwater Beach is family friendly with a wonderful historic Surf Life Saving Club. Manly can be really busy, so, if you're looking for something a little more quiet 'head over the hill' to Freshie. Famous for Duke Kahanamoku's visit from Hawaii in the summer of 1914/15 and his demonstrations of surfing on a surf board that is on display in the surf club.

Shopping

Recently renovated with an abundance of new stores, cafes and even a library and cinema. This is one of two (2) local areas to shop, the other being the smaller Balgowlah Stockland centre.

Food Scene

Theres a good choice of food stores here from Coles supermarket to the more local grocer, great fresh fish, meat, flowers, dry cleaners, chemist and lots more. We like 'Moreish' for a coffee and a meal. The local fruit & veg (Harbord Growers) are well known, too. It's a smaller centre than Westfield and we prefer to shop here.
