One of my favorite restaurants in town. Consistently good food, and also a brewery with a great selection of local beers. They have two fabulous happy hours - one form 4:00 pm to 5:30 and a late night happy hour from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm that offers half prize appetizers, and discounted drinks. You gotta try the fish tacos and the twisted pretzel!

Sightseeing
Fish Creek Falls is a gorgeous 283 foot tall water fall. The short 1/4 mile hike to the observatory is well worth it. Bring cash for parking, it's a $5 fee.

Entertainment & Activities
Strawberry Park Hot Springs is another must do activity while in Steamboat. Imagine soaking in an all natural hot springs in the middle of the mountains - it's awesome! Family friendly during the daytime, but it's clothing optional after dark.

The Walmart in Steamboat has very limited groceries. But if you're needing very inexpensive outdoor gear, or a last minute bathing suit, this is definitely an option.

Getting Around
This is the major bus station at the ski resort. From here you can catch a bus towards any direction in Steamboat. There are two small bus stops closer to my condo, named Shadow Run and Herbage. If you pick up the bus at either of these locations you will be taken directly to the ski resort (about a 5 minute ride.)
The entire Steamboat bus line is free to use.
