You can have the best view of Brasov from the top of Mount Tampa. You can reach it by cable car (called Telecabina) or walking up one of the few paths twisting up the hill.

In 1599 the tower was destroyed by lightning. So, it’s got it’s name from its walls being blackened by the fire caused by the lightning. Today, it is no longer black.
