A great cozy place worh great amenities and a fantastic host.

The place is amazing! Very beautiful home and very comfortable. Joel is very kind, smart and easy to talk to. But did I mention the place? It’s beautiful! Location is easy to find and close to the charming Main Street through which you can find small restaurants and pubs. The temperature was perfect. Bathrooms clean. Bed linens extra soft and smell like a fresh breeze on a spring day in a beautiful meadow where you happen upon a half buried chest of gold. Really though this place is fantastic!

Joel is the greatest host: warm, welcoming, helpful, and kind. You cannot beat Joel as a host, the convenient location, the charming decor, or the value you get for your dollar staying here!

Joel was very hospitable and responsive and his home is in a great location. We will be back!

This stay was amazing! It was clean, it was extremely spacious, it was easy to access, and the host was super sweet and very responsive! Another big thing for us, was that for our first time in Philadelphia we were not expecting parking in the city to be as bad as it was. But we were grateful that no matter what time of day we came back to the house there was always a great spot right out front for free. That was EXTREMELY helpful because I was on crutches and that was a big worry!! I would most definitely stay here again!!

The rooms were all larger than expected and the place had the feel of a cozy Parisian apartment. Great character, It is adorable! Exactly what we needed for our short stay and so much better than a hotel room. Quiet location and street parking was a breeze.

Loved Michael's space! It was beautifully decorated and more spacious than I was expecting. Check in and check out were a breeze, and Michael was very accommodating when an unexpected bump came up. I also loved the location. Far enough out of the way to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to everything to be convenient. Highly recommend!

My husband and I loved this location! It is so conveniently located, is well maintained, and the host was accommodating to our check-in need. There is a grocery store, Starbucks and other retail outlets just around the corner. Many restaurants are within walking distance (6-8 blocks). Also, the kitchen area was equipped with everything we needed to make meals. The Philadelphia airport is only a 20 minutes drive away and a SEPTA train stop is just around the corner meaning you can easily get into Philadelphia without driving. We will definitely look to book this accommodation again when we're back in the area.

Great little place and location!

We had a wonderful stay! Perfect size for my family of 4 with just the right amount of privacy. I loved the fact that the pull out bed is in a cupboard and not the sofa, so you still have a space to watch tv when the bed is pulled out. And the pull out mattress was super comfortable! Great location for all that Media has to offer. We will definitely book this space again the next time we are in Media.

Erin’s place was perfect for my four-night stay. It was very comfortable, clean, private, and spacious. Also conveniently located with a gas station and Starbucks right across the street and the downtown a few blocks away. I’d definitely stay here again

I’ve now stayed multiple times at Erin’s place and it is a great option if you need to be in the Media area. It’s about 0.7 mile walk to downtown Media. A Starbucks and grocery store are two blocks away. Kitchen has a stovetop and refrigerator but no oven. There is a streetcar that creates a small amount of noise— this may only be a problem if you want quiet as if you are in a remote country setting. The TV has steaming services but no cable. The above are listed so you have the correct expectations. The place is clean and comfortable.

Great little sweet spot just outside of Philly, in lovely Media, PA. There’s such a lovely colonial feel to this little town and the homes are gorgeous. This little in-law apartment is convenient and comfy and I would definitely book again if I’m back in the area.

Erin’s place continues to be a great option if you need to be close to Media.

Chris was a great host, there was a problem with original place we rented from him (due to previous guests), he resolved it on the spot and gave us the place next door which was lovely. He even offered to take off cleaning fee for having to switch places. He was courteous and available promptly. New space was lovely and walkable to coffee shop and restaurants. Would definitely return!

Chris has a great first floor apartment in an older post Federal period building in downtown Wilmington. Location wise it's very easy to find from the I-95 highway. The building is quiet, but on a busy street in a busy neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice, lots of period houses and apartment buildings. The apartment is close to both downtown Wilmington and to some of Wilmington's attractions such as the Trolley Square area, the Zoo and the Delaware Museum of art, and also the Riverfront area with it's restaurants and baseball park. The apartment is good sized with classic high ceilings and huge tall windows out onto Delaware Avenue. The kitchen and bathroom are both small but complete with everything working, the bedrooms are large. There are two bedrooms, the king bed in the large bedroom is especially comfortable. The apartment also has a private entrance on the side of the building, which I really liked. All in all Chris's apartment is a good value and a very nice place that I intend to use again.

Chris’s place was great for my weekend with my sister. His directions were detailed and very easy to follow. Check in was easy. The place was clean and Chris was very responsive to all communications. The location of the apartment was perfect- walking distance from great restaurants and Brandywine State Park. The off street parking spot made things easy and convenient. The photos of the place are accurate. My sister and I were very comfortable and had a great stay!

Very lovely place

Chris was a great host he was prompt in his responses and his location was close to tons of food locations, stores and gas stations. I would deffinately recommend this location to anyone and there was more than enough space.

Check in was easy and loved the restaurants near by. And had a great walk down to river with my dog. Great location.

This was our second time staying here and had a great experience both times. We appreciate the off-street parking availability in the city, the private entrance to the building, and the ability to bring our dogs.

This is the original Airbnb style where you stay with the owner and visit a bit. Joel is a gracious host welcoming all. When I was there he had one fellow who stays when he's in Wilmington for work. And then two young guys came to stay so they could go to a concert the following night. I was on my way to Civil War Battlefields. Had a good time meeting all and having a chat. Just a real nice comfortable visit.

We enjoyed our stay at Joel’s place. It was very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. We came to Wilmington to see a show at The Queen and it was an easy walk from Joel’s place. Joel gave us recommendations for places to eat and things to do. He is warm, knowledgeable, and you can tell he really enjoys being a host. Thanks for a great stay in Wilmington.

Joel's place is in a good location, close to public transport. Additionally, the hospitality from Joel and the other guests was wonderful. There was usually someone in the kitchen or living area available for a chat or board game or just some useful local tips. Thanks again!

I had a great stay! Check-in and other communication went smooth, the place is sparkly clean and neat. I had a little food in the fridge and cooked in the kitchen, which is nice for a shoestring budget like mine. The place is located between two great recreational walking areas; the Brandywine Creek park and the riverfront (Christina river).

Joel is a great host. Very helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom is very clean. You can use any part of this the home to hang out in. It is very comfortable. It is easy to get to other areas. I think a car is best to use.

This place is perfect! It’s quiet, safe, and clean. Anna thought of everything, the furniture is nice, the check in is easy, and the little kitchenette snacks were nice. The place is very comfortable and private. The space heater was enough to keep me warm, but I did also use a heated blanket sometimes (that I brought). I stayed as a travel nurse to Christiana, and it was only like an 8 minute drive to work.

I travel extensively for work and have stayed at lots of Airbnb locations. I chose Anna’s place for an extended stay because it is an incredible value. Anna’s place exceeds in all Airbnb categories and you literally have a totally private studio apartment that is a wing off the main house. The apartment has its own private entrance and entryway, kitchenette, living area and bathroom. Anna is fantastic always there if you need something but never there when you don’t. Everything you need is in close proximity to Anna’s place. I highly recommend staying - you won’t find a better value!

Excellent host who was very accommodating during my extended business stay. A couple of apartment perks: The kitchen is newly renovated and you have a personal washer/dryer. Would absolutely stay here again.

I only stay here when I visit my family in a town eight miles up the road. And I look forward to it! Sid and Chris, his wife, are kind and welcoming. They have a lovely vibe of quiet. If you want to have a conversation, it's always interesting. Their farmhouse has gorgeous antiques and the bed in my room, which I have stayed in the past two visits, is so comfortable you're dreaming practically as soon as you hit the pillow. It was Christmas, so I came home each night of this week to a lovely, warm fire in the wood stove and their tree lit with little white lights. It was so welcoming.Guests never have to knock because they have the smart code entrance system. There was homemade cake to boot! This is a place of hospitality in rural south jersey. We felt really bad about check-in because we were coming in after 12:30 AM but Victor was great about responding to messages and helped us get our stuff into our room. I love coming to this studio apartment. It is close to my friends, great restaurants and shopping. The patco station to Philly is at most 15 minutes away. The host always responds quickly and the place is immaculate, comfy and in a nice residential neighborhood. This is my go-to every time I visit South Jersey/Philly. I will of course be back.

Really loved staying at Daniel’s place! We came into town for a family wedding and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was so clean, organized and labeled well. The room was also super bright which was a nice touch! It was a quiet relaxing area. I would recommend Daniels place! :)

Atypical apartment with a nice meditation room on the 3rd floor of the house (Ground floor +2). A decoration made of works of art but which gives charm to the rental. Mark is welcoming and there when needed. Comfortable and well equipped, this rental met our expectations.

We chose this airbnb for a quiet space in which to have a mini-work retreat. The location in Swarthmore is on a charming street but is no more than 5 minutes away from restaurants and shops. I did not think it was possible, but this visit was better than the first. The hosts were still welcoming, the house was sparkling clean, and the decorating of the space is classy. On this visit, the hosts allowed me access to their kitchen to reheat my late dinner and to also prepare my morning coffee! Thank you for another comfortable stay!

I needed a place to stay near work because of a late shift. I was apprehensive to take up accommodations in a shared space, but I was pleasantly surprised. My hosts were very friendly and hospitable. I had access to their well appointed common areas. My private room had a lock and key pad. Most importantly, I felt safe and comfortable. I will return again!

Very nice on the inside and quite large , heavy deadbolt on the door along with a motion detection security system. This is in a fairly rough area and I would not walk around outside if you can avoid it.

Simply one of the best Airbnb's I have ever stayed in. Honestly I am hesitant to talk about just how much I LOVED this place. If everyone knows how awesome this place is then I probably will not get a chance to stay here again. This is a historic Wilmington townhome just minutes from downtown and over twenty historic sites. This townhome has been updated with central A/C and a state-of-the-art home security system. The security system includes cameras with motion-sensing recording. The host Ms. Teresa provided EVERY item I needed. The neighborhood is slowly gentrifying but is rough around the edges. I will not stay anywhere but Ms. Teresa's place when I visit Wilmington. ⁷

Teresa is a great host. The house may not be in the nicest area but it is well secured and equipped. The house is spotless and has everything you need for a short stay, or as in my case, a lengthy stay. I definitely recommend this place if you are on a budget and need a place to stay in Wilmington.

Cozy room in a quiet neighborhood worked out great for my overnight stay. Mo and Victor are friendly and welcoming hosts; I appreciated the privacy yet they were available I if needed anything. Mo was very responsive to any inquiries from the moment I booked. Recommended!

Mo and her husband are amazing hosts. The house is so clean and the living room is spacious. They respond very quick and are always ready to help you if you need help. Really enjoyed staying there. Lots of restaurants are close by and the location is safe. Recommend it to everyone.
