The Cottage sleeps 5! It used to be a calving shed!Converted in the early 2000s the character and charm is plentiful .The ground floor is an open aspect where there is kitchen,dining and living area. It has double chapel doors following the main front door from the porch.The bedrooms are on different floors,one up 6 steps and the other down 5. The Haven. Newly refurbished cottage situated 3 miles out of Keswick in a quiet village, which boasts picturesque views onto Skiddaw and surrounding fells. The pathway leading up to Whinlatter is a stone’s throw away ideal for lovely walks and countless cycle routes, and for the less adventurous there plenty of pubs, cafés and restaurants close by. No Pets. The Thornthwaite bus stop is 300 metres from the Haven with buses going to and from Keswick and surrounding areas every 30 minutes.

Lovely self contained apartment, private entrance, key pad access. Large en-suite king-size room with vaulted ceiling, relaxing chairs for reading, fluffy towels, robes and luxury products. Beautiful garden with patio/BBQ/chimenea. Bassenthwaite Lake is short walk and The Royal Oak pub is in the next village (Braithwaite) just over 1 mile away. The X5 bus runs past the door to Cockermouth, Workington to the west and to Keswick via Braithwaite (the pub). Great reviews and superhost!
