The Nest. . Originally the old laundry.

The Nest was originally the old laundry and we have spent months converting it into this unique space. With wet room , kingsize bed, kitchenette with sink,fridge,microwave ,toaster and kettle. So everything to make a simple meal. This is a small space but larger than a shepherds hut .All that you need even in the winter months with plenty of hot water and heating. An experience if you love Nature and wildlife. Great bed no shower enclosure as it is a wet room. Good bed good shower. And clean!

The Shepherds Cottage is a cosy retreat in a rural location. Light the log burning stove and have a walk to the two local pubs, which offer great food and a warm welcome, or if you fancy a night in, there’s a Indian takeaway and Fish & Chip shop in the village. Stillington has numerous country walks, with fantastic views. Why not also visit the walled City Of York which is only 10 miles away. The lovely market town of Helmsley is only a 12 mile drive. Well behaved dogs are always welcome.

York Garden House

The York garden house stands under a oak tree in our garden, with private entrance. The garden, fire pit area (where you can toast marshmallows or use a disposable BBQ) and the glass roofed seating area/patio (to enjoy a takeaway from the village) are entirely yours to use. The garden room is also very private. It is a small, cosy & warm ( similar to glamping pod) There are electric radiators and its cosy on winter nights. It has two small single beds. Log burner is for aesthetics.

Nestled in the countryside just outside York, 'The Kennel' is a relaxing and peaceful retreat. This small but perfectly formed self-contained annex is set in three acres of newly planted woodland in which you can often see the Barn, Tawny and Little Owls visiting to be fed from the feeding posts, garden, small orchard, wildlife pond and apiary housing up to 8 beehives which provide us with some delicious honey. To the rear of the property is a Whisky and Gin Distillery.

With 3 bedrooms and rare 3 bathrooms it is a spacious home which is ideal for a family get together or for friends meeting up.
