A couple of kilometers away, there is another nature reserve with a beautiful ravine valley worth visiting. The cottage is located right next to the host's farm. From the balcony, you have a view over fields and pastures with grazing animals. With proximity to several lakes and an outdoor pool, the cottage is perfect for those who want to enjoy a nice holiday in the countryside.

Welcome to our nice little cottage in idyllic Sandviken on the outskirts of Sala. Here you live right at the edge of the forest and do not have to walk for more than a couple of minutes to reach two child-friendly swimming areas with sandy beaches, where the largest has both a kiosk, boat rental and a diving tower. Here you can also watch the sun set on the terrace at Sala's best restaurant, Måns Ols. For those who want to exercise, there are both illuminated trails and mountain bike trails close by. You can also walk to the nearby silver mine.

This is a classic, bright red, small cottage with a lovely, splendid garden in the summer months. Inside, there is a combined living room and bedroom with a double bed, a newly equipped bathroom with shower and a small country kitchen with a fireplace. Adjacent to the house are pastures, fields and an old farm. At the junction, a popular bike path passes by and there are many nice rural walking paths to choose from. Two kilometers away is Sala Silver Mine and into the city center it is about five kilometers. Bicycles are available to borrow.

Gamla Uppsala is 4 km north of Uppsala city, nice, quiet and very close to the nature. The highway E4 is close and you can go by bus, bike or walk to city, it’s 100m to the busstop.

Stugan passar sig bäst för två personer men man kan bo 4 personer då de finns bäddsoffa. Man tar sig till Sala,Uppsala, Enköping,Västerås på mindre än 1 timme.

This cottage offers a peaceful and natural accommodation by a spring lake with fresh water, which is well suited for washing and hygiene. The cabin is of a simpler standard and lacks high voltage power and a hot shower. The electricity supply is via a 12-volt system, which is sufficient for simple lighting. However, capacity is limited. There is the possibility to charge mobile phones via outlets, as well as access to TV with DVD.
