Park
“If you like to hike, you will enjoy Thumb Butte. This is a short but steep hike and when you get to the top the view is breathtaking! Thumb Butte is a local land mark, just 5 min. up the street from our Airbnb. Parking is $5 per day, except on Wednesdays it free. There are 2 trails to choose from, the steeper trail is paved, the longer less steep trail is dirt. The loop is about 2.5 miles from beginning to end. So although its not long it ascends 700 feet in elevation. For the more moderate hiker I recommend going counter clockwise on the loop and head up the dirt trail and come down the paved trail. Its about an hour hike. ”
