Our secluded home is just off of route 9 in Cummington. We are less than 1 hour away from many attractions including Tanglewood, Mass MoCA, Glendale Falls and Northampton. This area is not only beautiful for hiking, but also motorcycle riding here is exquisite! No wifi or cable (plenty of movies!), good cell phone coverage for Verizon and AT&T (tMobile has not worked in the past, but recently guests have said that it does work). Friendly pets welcome! 1 pet maximum. We abut Shire Village Camp.

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

The Railroad House is a cute attached converted barn in the village center with parking, private entrance, 2 floors, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, WiFI, but no television. Your own gracious living space with very well equipped kitchen, private deck, entrance, garden, country roads for dog walks, forests, meadows, mountain streams, stone walls, tranquility. The cottage is attached to the main house but is a "separate" entity and again has its own private entrance as mentioned above. No smoking in the cottage please but on the deck just fine.
