Breathtaking views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. A place you find peace and quiet and can enjoy your days without worries, here you can swim and enjoy yourselves in peace and quiet, the place is sheltered and without access. If they should rain, you can still sit dry under the roof and at the same time be outdoors. It is a small simple cabin with great outdoor opportunities. The cabin is surrounded by water and a river that goes down to the sea. There is also the convenience store and a hotel as well as a small gas station. You can use boat down the river to shop, or walk 5min.

From here you can walk on Åsheimveten, 477 meters above sea level and on to Tveitafjellet 556 meters. Down in the valley, you can walk to the popular Kossdal swings. Mjøsvågen Landhandleriet is open every day, 5min to drive. There you can buy hot food if desired. You can swim in the public swimming area close by or have a visit in the floating sauna.

You will love my place because of the location, the outdoor area, and the atmosphere. New kitchen is installed in June-2018. It is perfect for couples and solo travelers. The place is 25 min by car from Bergen city and only 10min to both Arna and Åsane (with small shopping senters). It is desirable that you have a car, because public transportation is about 25 min away by foot. The location offers great hikes in the mountain and other beautiful trails in the woods. Great view from the studio.
