Jiali’s place was well located next to a bus stop and a park. However, it’d be important to mention for new visitors that the place is inside a Chinese neighbourhood so it was difficult to find food and products different from the Chinese ones. Check in and check out were efficient.

Great place to stay in flushing. Good food around and safe neighborhood. Flushing is a little bit far from Manhattan as it takes me more than 2 hours to commute each day, but other than that, it's great.

Clean and good, but not a good location

It seems to be a 2 floors house, where all rooms are rent. It's a quick walk to the bus that drives you to the subway station. It takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour to go to Manhattan, but it was not a problem to us. We stayed 12 nights in room #1. The room was very clean, and spacious, the mattresses were too hard for us but once we informed Shirley, she has been very reactive and quick, and our matresses were changed the following day! The bathroom could be a little cleaner, and the place a little quieter at night, but it is not the host's fault, more the other guests. Someone comes everyday to clean the bathroom and the kitchen. It's a pity that you can not cook, but there is a microwave, a toaster and an electric kettle that you can use. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, and there is a deli at the end of the street where you can buy hot soups, salads, vegetable or meat based dishes at a very reasonable price. Also Flushing is a bigger and more genuine China town in the Queens, with a lot of restaurants and shops. All in all it is a nice place to stay. I really recommend it, given that you don't mind the 1h transportation to Manhattan and sometimes a little noise at night.

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve had. Very clean and stylish. Everything included. One of the first places that I’ve been in that had gas. Gave me an opportunity to cook and bake. Mini foosball and ping pong was included. Oh and a 4K TV to watch nice movies on. Will definitely come back :).

Before I even step foot in the apartment I already felt like home. The neighborhood and the area is just great! Jessica and her family are fantastic hosts and received us with warmth. They were always available to answer any question I had about where to go around Queens and even dropped me off to the airport for a reasonable fee. The apartment is an addition to the existing house. It’s cozy and very clean with new furniture around.

Jessica is an amazing host, she goes out of her way to assist so that you feel at home and can relax. Her place is immaculate and special touches are apparent everywhere, the garden is better than in the pictures, I would highly recommend Jessica's place to anyone. We are a family of 4 and found everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Jessica went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. Thanks Jessica we will definitely be back if we ever get back to New York.

Booking this room at Geheng and Jianli's guest house was practically perfect for our needs because my daughter had an event at the YWCA in Flushing. Prior to our expected arrival, we were able to arrange for an easy self-check in. We arrived by Lyft, late evening: The house exterior was well lit, and the house number was visible from the street. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a small table and chairs and futon. While the room has two closets, only one closet had a few hangers and coat hooks. This was adequate for our 2-night stay, but I mention this in case prospective guests may need/want to request additional hangers. And while the two of us shared the bed, if you are two guests needing separate beds, or three travelers (2= king bed, 1= futon), ask the hosts for additional blankets and bed linens prior to your arrival. There is no kitchen access, but there is a mini fridge and microwave in the living room. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is close to Main Street and many businesses: restaurants, banks, groceries, bakeries, cafes. Communications were prompt, courteous and helpful. My daughter and I had a pleasant experience. If we ever need to be in Flushing again, we will definitely contact Geheng and Jianli!

Bedroom is pretty big, and it’s very clean. Just keep in mind the bathroom is shared between all 4 rooms.

Arriving to the house we noticed the quiet neighborhood and having a driveway was really helpful after a long day of travel. The keys were easily accessible and opened the two deadbolts on the front door. The living room was comfortable and cozy with access to a water cooler and small fridge where we placed our leftovers from dinner. The hosts responded to all our emailed questions very quickly. Even when I became ill they made me feel cared for. The bedroom and shared bathroom were clean and comfortable. The three of us slept very well. I highly recommend this space.

it was really clean ,we maintained and new renovated place,15 min drive to Manhattan and easily access to the bus and metro station ,also very quiet neighborhood I got very good sleep there....very accommodating and flexible check in ,the only thing I can add as a weak point was a bit language barrier ....thank you lovely couple Geheng and Jilani.

Great house very spacious! Stay in your own room among the 2-3 that are available on 2nd floor. Geheng was very accommodating. Got in late and left early. Room to park your car too! Will definitely stay here again if I end up back in queens!

Niki and her husband were great host! What I enjoyed he most was the calming atmosphere as well as the security of the home. The only downfall was the bed. It was not comfortable at all. Aside from that, everything was perfect!

Niki is very accommodating and welcoming. He made me feel like his apartment is also my home and was always readily available whenever I had any questions. Wifi is fast and rooms are warm during winter. He lives several bus stops away from downtown Flushing, where there are a some of the best Asian food in the country. I highly recommend staying at Niki's and will be staying here again next time I'm in Flushing.

Geheng was a fantastic host. I had a crazy late schedule and he did everything possible to accommodate me. The apartment was super clean and there was even a fabulous fresh filtered water cooler.

We visited Mimi and Andres for 3 nights. Perfect place for a family. We were a family of 7 and had ample space for all. Very neat and thoughtful touches with furniture. Andres was in touch with us during reservation and was quick in responses. Only point to be noted - its not located in Midtown but is still close subway station - 30 minutes to Times Square

Great accomodation. Close to the (quite loud) subway, but we were warned about that and quickly got used to it. Really enough sleeping space for all 8 of us (although the kitchen table would've been more comfortable for 4-6 people). Very good communication with the very friendly hosts, quick responses for all the questions we had. :-)

It's a very beautiful house as introduction. Although the subway makes some noise, it have no influence on sleeping. We enjoy the time here

We enjoyed our stay and Mimi and Andres' place. We were a group of 8 and had lots of space for everyone. They were quick to answer and resolve any questions or issues we had. The location was fantastic, located close to the train station and close to grocery stores that open late at night. The sound of the train is quite loud, but you get use to it after the fist night. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a nice time at the house. Andres was prompt in responding to queries. The house was fully equipped and nicely decorated. The subway noise was loud but it didn’t bother us much. The location isn’t bad - only a few minutes away from Manhattan.

Highly suggest if you’re a tourist in New York. I understand that it’s not IN the actual city but trust me you’ll save $100s if you book a place near the city instead. Quick entry to Times Square can be provided by taking the 161 route a block away from your AirBNB. Bus tickets are around $7 one way. The AirBNB is also very close to many of the important colleges and cultural places of New Jersey if you wish to visit what New Jersey has to offer as well. Like I said, highly recommend it for anyone and everyone!

Rumana’s place is absolutely beautiful. It is a gorgeous historic old mansion, the rooms are lovely, everything is well kept, and Rumana was so helpful as was Luis in helping me get settled and answering any questions I had. I just loved the experience and would happily stay here again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hosts were exceptionally warm, kind and accommodating. Meeting them was a highlight of the trip! We were visiting the area to attend a wedding, but taking up residence at this historic mansion made us feel like we were on vacation at an elegant old hotel. The house was enchanting, with its high ceilings, beautiful wood floors and exquisite paneling throughout, fascinating nooks and crannies at every turn. Our private suite upstairs was quiet and comfortable, with a clawfoot tub in the bathroom and plenty of hot water. We also enjoyed a stroll through the immediate neighborhood, which featured a lovely park and many other historic properties. What’s more, we found it easy to get to Manhattan on an inexpensive, comfortable tour-style bus that runs frequently, even on Sundays, with a stop located just a few blocks away. We hope to return soon and highly recommend to others!

The room is not the one shown in pictures, it’s a smaller and simpler bedroom with only two beds and a nightstand, the bathroom is shared by too many people and is not kept very tidy. Location was great, very close to the metro and in a safe neighborhood.

Good location! Close to subway station! 25 minute ride into Manhattan. Was surprised that the bathroom was shared with so many people, there were over 20+ people staying in the house and sharing the bathroom, which made it difficult to get into the bathroom at times. The bedroom pictured in the listing was also completely different than the bedroom we were given. Wasn’t a huge deal, as we weren’t spending much time in the house, but was just a bit surprising. Most of the guys in the house were friendly, but didn’t know much English, which made asking questions about things hard. They also ran out of toilet paper the first day, so we had to find somewhere else down the road to use the bathroom. They did keep the house, room and bathroom clean, though and we were able to use the stove and fridge!

SPECTACULAR BEYOND WORDS! For someone who was staying at an Airbnb for the first time; moreover, for an entire month, this place felt like home. Julia and her entire family were extremely warm and welcoming. The spacious room with a big cozy bed, a beautiful private bathroom, mini fridge, a gorgeous closet and a comfy study area were absolutely perfect for my long-term stay. As a student, having an all access kitchen, laundry and gym in the house made everything so much easier. Furthermore, the attention to detail was fantastic: from the color changing LED desk lamp for study to the wonderful hand cream by the bed side to the little hand towels by the sink. The house itself is very beautiful and spotless clean. Julia not only provides great recommendations regarding local areas but also pick up/drop off services at a very reasonable rate which makes travelling a lot easier. She was quick to respond and an overall gracious and loving host. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Well ofcourse this spot was the best place I stayed at so far.. So many surprise amenities, like heated toilet seats with the fountains lol🤙.. What really was the best, was the communication.. We had some confusion about the amount of guest and type of stay. We were able to clear it up pretty quickly and everything just turned out great! I WILL BE BOOKING HERE AGAIN. My family and I had a blast! The place is spacious and very sunny, we loved the flowers and the decor, very homey. It was very clean and kitchen had everything I could ask for. Dinner table is spacious and fit all my family and the backyard is huge, kids could run and play around. We didn’t have enough time to use the gym but it looks impressive. We enjoyed the steam room, exactly what we needed after the long flight. Will be back, thank you for your hospitality and for fast responses.

Large comfortable spaces with all the amenities we could ask for. The neighborhood was also really peaceful and quiet, and the newly renovated house has so many fun things like a massage chair, sauna, a gym (in the detached garage), and bidets. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of love into the property! The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the cleaner forgot to come prior to our visit. Thankfully we were able to find clean linens and towels in the basement, and the host was very prompt in our communication with the issue and had the cleaner come the next morning. The host also surprised us with a really thoughtful gift as an apology, so we knew they were very genuine with their commitment to having happy customers!

We loved Sheng’s Villa. There is tons of space with lots of natural light and a lovely deck facing west. Sheng’s Villa was clean and tidy with lots of amenities including fully outfitted kitchen and washer and dryer. This place can accommodate a large group easily. I’d stay again.

My family loves staying at Susan’s when they are in town. The house is a great size for a family of four. It’s convenient and she’s always very responsive. Highly recommend!

Cheryl and Chris are so nice and welcomed me into their loving home right away. I loved my room - very spacious and I loved having my own bathroom! I had some great conversations with them and I wish I got to enjoy my time more but I was there for rotations and interviews. Their 2 dogs are adorable as well and made me feel more at home as I missed my dog and cat. This was my 1st airbnb experience and I couldn't have been happier! Wonderful hosts! Chris and Cheryl were so thoughtful from start to finish. They greeted us with water, had bathrobes and towels ready for us, and even put on some Lana Del Rey when we told hem we were in town to see her in concert. There was plenty of room in our room and the common areas, plus lots of plants, cool artwork, a comfy bed and private bathroom to make us comfortable. We even spent some time enjoying their beautiful patio post concert and over fresh coffee and cinnamon buns in the morning. They are true hosts and made us feel so welcome. If you’re looking for good conversation and hosts that truly open their home to you, stay with them. Great experience all around!

The room was clean, comfortable and a good place to relax. Cheryl and Christ offered nearly the complete house to us, which gave us a feeling of being a part of their lives. They are very helpful with tipps what to do and where to go. We had a really great time with Cheryl and Chris and a funny night with their daughter and friends playing Domino. We would love to stay again.

They where very friendly hosts, their communication was quick for everything, about the room was confortable, it is a shared room but they give privacy so we can stay confortable. At the checkout time again we’re very friendly people, they share a place to walk, which was closer, so we got a great walk before beach again. We recommend them.

Anna is a great host. Our flight arrived New York late and she stayed in her apartment wait for our arrival to about 10pm. She introduced every part of her apartment in details. My husband loves her open balcony. On the rooftop,you can't see the temperature tower top. It's very kind of Anna allowing my 12 year old son to sleep on her sofa, because previously probably she doesn't have a pleasure experience with other traveler . As a housewife, I love her overall interior decoration, every piece of furniture, utensils are premium. The fragrant candles smells good, The plant pots are cute, pleased nicely in the living area. By the way I love the two big teddy bear Anna pleased at the bottom of the stairs, leading up to the rooftop. Overall I enjoyed the stay in Anna's apartment. I recommended to a few friends that is planning to stay in New York in the near future:)

Anna's place is a well-appointed, spacious apartment in an excellent location. This is the kind of place to rent when you actually want to spend quality time in the apartment, vs. just wanting a place to sleep. The only surprises we encountered were positive ones. First, Anna took care to familiarize us with the things you take for granted in your own home, but can be hard to figure out when visiting someone else's (e.g., the TV remotes, where to find glasses and dishes, how to use the coffee maker, etc.), which we really appreciated. Second, the bathroom and closet space were downright luxurious. Third, there were two private outdoor spaces, and if you know Manhattan, then you know that just one outdoor space would be special enough! I could not have hoped for a better experience or a better host. Thank you, Anna!

Shirly's place is an excellent value for your money. l was at her place more than two weeks and I found place splottless clean, great ammenities and convinient location for any visiters. The neighborhood is adjacent to Queens Botanical Garden Shirley was an excellent host. She took good care of us. Whennever I called for anything she responded very quick with a possitive note. I was very much satisfied in staying there.

Wonderfull, clean place to stay and visit NY.

As advertised: large room, clean, cheap, and good location. Management was forthcoming and personable. At times a bit crowded around the toilet and bathroom (there is one for 4 rooms and I was with 2 little kids). Aside from that caveat, I recommend the room, the apartment and the host.

Great stay and great location in Flushing, NY. The place itself is charming and has everything you need to make your stay as smooth as possible. Host is very communicative with quick responses for all of your needs. Highly recommend!

Michelle is a very nice and pleasant lady. 100 % responsive. Very thoughtful and kind with a bubbly and charming personality. Michelle’s place is a really nice place. It is new, and very clean, and the room was bigger than what you see in the pictures. Michelle provided coffee, bottled water in addition to the other things. It is 1 or 2 minutes from the bus stop and the bus takes you directly to the subway station. Michelle also allowed me check out late because my flight was later in the day. She even helped arrange a taxi to take me to the airport . I will definitely stay there again.
