What Marseille has to offer

One tango in marseille
I propose an initiation / practice of tango, adapted to your level and wishes. This could take the form of an intensive course or a more relaxed time of introduction to tango dancing while having a drink. You can be a single female or a dance couple and up to 2 couples. We bet that you will start tango regularly after this experience! For the coming weeks, we can decide together to take the course at my apartment, a stone's throw from the old port or in the open air by the sea

Fat E-Bike excursion to the Calanques National Park
The very best option to visit the main sites of the city in a pleasant and comfortable all day tour on Fat E-Bikes and have an unforgettable experience on the beach but also on little rocky small path without big effort. We will meet at my place, you will be given safety instructions, told how to use the bike and we will be ready to leave for a very nice ride.. We will see many remarkable sites such as Pharo Palace,Vallon des Auffes, Le Petit Nice and also some little hidden places but nonetheless very cute. Then we will enjoy a coast ride, sometimes on bike path and sometimes on the beach to reach the edge of the Calanques National Park, where road and time are stoping for a while.. We will have lunch there in the best seafood (not only and not included) restaurant in Marseille's world end.. (or you can also enjoy your picnic) You won't be disappointed ! On the way back we will be crossing the lush greenery of La Campagne Pastré and its little path then through the Borely Park, its castle and french gardens.. Be sure that we won't spend the all day on the bikes, you will get free times and many photo stops are planned in the excursion. The electric assistance is helping a lot, however we will be doing quite a nice ride with a on-road part, an off-road one and another on bike path.. The level of the tour is easy but you need to be at ease with riding bikes. I'm sure you will love the Fat E-Bike Experience.. Don't forget your swimsuit and book it ! See you soon, Marc. Other things to note Bicycle fluency required. 1/3 on-road 1/3 off-road 1/3 bike path

Calanque bleue by train swim
- Go to Saint Charles station because it is by train that we will reach the coves of the blue coast through tunnels and viaducts. - We reach the small port of Ensues la Redonne at the start of the customs path which we cover to reach the beach of Figuiére and its almost perfect cove. Swimming in blue waters. - We continue towards the double cove of Mejean and its micro village. - This is where the wild coast begins with its cliffs and superb marine reefs. We arrive at the cove of Everine facing the island of the same name. The place is ideal for mask and snorkelling, among the most beautiful seabed in the region. - Finally it is the Jonquier cove and its turquoise waters to arrive at the small port of Niolon clinging to the cliff, perfect place for a refreshment before taking our little train back to its improbable station. Other things to note It is better to know how to swim, take enough water! Otherwise the ride does not require special skills, the cumulative elevation positive / negative is around 350 meters more a long ride than a hike. Fans of organic green clay baths with sea salt will be delighted!

Calanques Cassis hike with swimming
/!\Possibility of carpooling from Cassis train station accessible from Marseille in 25 min Can't find the available time on the calendar? If you have any questions, let me know! -- The proposed hike is a 6 km crossing of 3 Calanques that looks like Mediterranean fjords : Port-Miou, Port-Pin, and one of the most famous En-Vau. From Cassis you will start by exploring the Calanque of Port-Miou. Along 1400 m, it houses a marina and contains a rich heritage: former operating place of a limestone quarry, underground river... all of which will be brought to your attention. Always along the coast, you will continue to reach the Calanque of Port-Pin, marks the entrance to the Marseille territory! This winding calanque is home to a pretty pebble cove with turquoise waters... where you can, if you like, taste the freshness of its waters during a break of 30 minutes This is where we will start to reach a little altitude, which will take you gradually up to 90 m above sea level, to the En-Vau lookout point, revealing its beach below, buried between the high cliffs... Whow !
"Urban Puzzle": an urban hike in the heart of Marseille
A new experience on Airbnb, but already made more than 300 times on urbanhike. fr: we are together for a very special 8 to 10 kilometers cultural hike, right in the city center of Marseille! We will walk through the hyper-center to discover the cultural heritage that Marseille has to offer. Many districts make up a city center as rich as it is heterogeneous, and make Marseille this bubbling city, colorful, surprising, intense and unique but also difficult to discover, demanding and sometimes even hard if you do not have the keys to understand it properly. So let's see how one lives in some emblematic neighborhoods, what happens there every day, their various beauties that they make you dizzy, but above all we will try to understand them: While visiting, we will explore the long history and geography that fostered the emergence of this charming "urban" puzzle, and we evoke all the human, political and social diversity that seals the identity of the city of Marseille. This 100% cultural hike is the result of significant personal learning. These in-depth studies resulted in the creation of a set of tools and playful documents facilitating the understanding of complex urban planning. Youngsters and older people can discover it by marveling and having fun. Other things to note Don't hesitate to ask me any questions, I'm here to guide you!
