Places to stay in Mamou

Brittany's place was perfect for our trip. Everything was spotless, there were plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, pots, & pans. Brittany's was always responsive and was flexible with check in and check out to accommodate our flights. The outside seating was so nice to be able to enjoy the weather. I seen a different review about a train that made me question booking her place, so I wanted to say yes the train is a real thing, however, I don't think it really matters where you stay in New Iberia, you are going to hear that train, so do not let that affect your decision on booking this place. We would definitely stay here again.

We reserved the entire Train Wreck Inn for the bridal party the weekend of our wedding and the accommodations were perfect for our crowd. Our only regret is not spending more time enjoying the cool weather and each other's company on the porch. Collin was very responsive and available to hash out the details of our stay, especially since we were coordinating several different families. It all came together seamlessly. We couldn't have been more pleased. 10/10 would stay again!

Everything was excellent. The only slight downside was it was in a location, a few miles further out than we expected. However, once we were there, it was such a pleasant location that we felt. It was worth driving a little extra to be in such a nice environment.

This place was wonderful and I would definitively stay here again. The only negative is that there is lots of street noise, so if you're a light sleeper this place might not be for you.

Erin's cottage was a perfect place for our family of 6! We hung out in the cozy living room, cooked a couple different meals and enjoyed our relaxing stay. If we are ever back in Lafayette, we will definitely book Erin's place again! 10/10

We only stay here when we are in town. Feels like home. Peaceful, beautiful always clean. Host is always super responsive. Never had any issues here. The house is perfect and serene.

I loved everything about this place!! This loft was the BEST!! It was very clean and spotless, the loft even smelled clean, the artwork was absolutely fantastic and enjoyable to look at, the backyard felt like a botanical garden, the plants were amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable!! 20/10 recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed Cheryl’s place. WE GIVE IT A DESERVING 5 Stars! This Beautiful Airbnb, from the moment we arrived, it was clear that this Airbnb was something special. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the beautiful decorations added a warm and inviting touch. We were impressed by the ample supply of linen, towels, and dishes, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to navigate, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Both the bathroom and kitchen were well-stocked. The beauty of the place was matched only by the kindness and hospitality of our host, Ms. Cheryl. She was not only very kind and knowledgeable but also quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. Her beautiful personality shone through in every interaction, making our stay even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we are grateful. This place is a REAL GEM!💎

This place is extraordinary, and Jeff was the consummate host. He was super-responsive, gave lots of helpful suggestions for things to do and went out of his way to make us feel fully at home with both total privacy and total availability. The home itself is wildly wonderful, exactly like the photos except more expansive inside and outside, with a lot of land. The landscape is gorgeous, and the bayou could not be prettier. I recommend this place for anyone!
