Library
“A beautiful library worth a quick visit. It has a lot of historical meaning, the library was bombed to rubble in WWII and rebuilt with gifts from dozens of US and worldwide universities whose names can be found engraved all over the building.”

Museum
“The University library is a beautiful building in the centre of Leuven with a huge square in front. The building itself was severely damaged during the war, and funds for rebuilding were sent from universities, schools and colleges all over the world. The names are carved in to the front of the building, on the pillars of the vaulted cloister at the front. You can climb the many steps of the bell tower to get a view over Leuven.”
