We had a wonderful stay in Nathalie’s cottage on a very idyllic location in the woods. Sweet decorations in brocante style made quite a lovely ambience. After a busy day sightseeing in the beautiful city of Bayeux the included jacuzzi was a relaxing treat!

Housing located on the outskirts of the village in a place that respects nature and its environment. You will be lulled by the tranquility of the countryside, in the evening you will fall asleep with the owl of the owl and the murmur of the forest.

This gite in the beautiful garden of Martine is a paradise to stay. You only hear the sound of the birds and the bees in the garden. A wonderful place to unwind. There are plenty of sights in the area. Martine is very hospitable and helpful. Really a place to come back someday.

We loved the cute apartment! Because of the rain, we were not willing to walk to a grocery store. That was our only complaint. Everything else was fine

The accommodation conforms to this description, small and simple, it is very pleasant for 2 travelers. In the heart of the city which is very pleasant to be able to visit the city on foot. No private parking but some places are available in the street or on the square at the end of it, which is very good. Enough to make extra races a few streets near the apartment. Entrance independently is nice when you can't help but arrive late. Very good stay!

A bit of an oasis in the countryside. The room has its own access at the end of a large farmhouse, the space has been modernised tastefully and the bathroom and shower are particularly appealing. I'm certainly pleased I booked here and would fully recommend staying here.

Very pleasant apartment with outstanding bedding (firm mattress but adapting to the shape of the body). I slept very well in a room overlooking the garden. The calm is absolute and is only interrupted by the bells of the neighboring monastery at 7.50 am. It was a bit surprising the first night, but that didn't stop me from sleeping the second night. I had a great stay.

This is a great little house in a really good location. Very easy to access all of the DDay landing beaches and museums. It is well equipped with most of the things you need. We especially liked the garden which was securely fenced for our small dog who came too. We stayed in the winter and the house was warm with efficient heating and hot water. In the summer, the garden and French windows would make a great location.

Thanks for the stay. The house is very clean, a very quiet little village. Close enough to Omaha beaches and close to Bayeux for shops and meals. The only problem was the neighbor's dogs who kept barking all night. It is not Nathalie's fault but to think of bringing earplugs. The bed is very comfortable and the shower good. No soap for hands or for the shower, remember to bring your own (damage).

Nathalie's description of the gîte corresponds precisely to what awaits us. Clean and comfortable. Nathalie was absent when we arrived but the keys were available to return. I recommend.

Great 2-floor apartment in a tiny town. Very safe area, easy to find. In center of town, but quiet. Heat works great in winter, SUPER comfy bed and couch, clean/spacious/modern rooms, 8 min walk to grocery, 15 min walk to train station. Easy check-in. Stairs very steep, but doable unless you are disabled or limited mobility. Big space, basics provided in kitchen, beautiful styling, very friendly host. CON is that the wifi stopped working my second day, and never worked downstairs in the kitchen--it was only present upstairs, but I did not find this to be an issue.

A peaceful stay in the countryside but close to Bayeux, a very clean and very well decorated gîte. I loved the fact that there was an oven, a super kitchen carefully furnished, a shelter for smoking, we could come and go as we pleased, the gate was always open. A warm place.

Carole is very reactive and will welcome you with kindness. The cottage or the house should I say is very well decorated. I recommend this cottage which has good value for money.

A cottage with a lot of charm, very well equipped and ideally placed to go either to the beaches, Bayeux or the Cotentin. Had a really enjoyable WE after being very well received by Michel. We will come back with pleasure.

A separate house is beautiful and sanitary, right next to the landlord's house. The landlord is very good, and everything helps us solve it in time. It is a 20-minute drive from August and a half-hour drive from the landing beach.

Great accommodation for a couple moment. The hosts are discreet but responsive to requests. You can go there with your eyes closed.

We had the most wonderful stay at Michels place! The house was so cosy and clean. There was a lot off small details that made us feel so comfortable. We loved the little space in the garden where we could enjoy our meals. Michel is a fantastic host who gave us a warm welcome, showed us around and came and said goodbye when we left. If we go back to Normandy we would love to stay here again! :)

We have just completed a five night stay and enjoyed every minute! We were looking for a location where we could park our car, be in a remote location, and yet still close to many of the area attractions. Evelyne's location matched each of these requirements. The property was furnished with everything we needed. What really made our stay exceptional was the grounds. We strolled around several times to enjoy the fruit trees, the chickens, goat, sheep, and honey bee hives. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch with our evening coffee. The location was peaceful and allowed us a much needed rest.

We found in Evelyne and Christian the calm and authenticity that we had come for. A real haven of peace and a warm welcome! Housing warmly recommended for those who love nature and authenticity!

The place is very clean, roomy and relaxing with a nice kitchen and quiet outdoor seating area. Fabienne greeted us as soon as we got there, and her and her husband were EXTREMELY helpful to us during our stay! We don't speak any French, so they were kind enough to help us order food, order a taxi, etc. The home is located a few kilometers outside of town, so I would recommend renting a car if staying there for more than 1-2 days, otherwise using taxis is fine. I would love to stay here again if I'm ever back in the area!

Audrey's place is located pretty much opposite the Bayuex Tapestry. We used the place as our base whilst we spent a long weekend exploring Normandy. The off street parking was very useful and the place feels very safe and secure. Exceptionally clean and well presented, all the amenities you need for a stay either long or short. Would definitely recommend for couples looking for a break like us!

The garden is quite large and there is always room in the residence. Thanks to Audrey for this great apartment, which is cheaper than the market. Very good accommodation in the center of this beautiful town of Bayeux.

This scored in four areas as outstanding. The location is superb, with everything within easy walking distance, including the Main Street in Bayeux which actually has open coffee shops and restaurants in January. The setting is wonderful, with off road parking behind secure gates, with a large and very attractive garden which must be great in the summer. The flat is small but very well designed with fast WiFi and a good shower. Finally the provision of basics like shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom and tea and coffee in the kitchen (which we didn’t need as we are used to taking supplies around with us), and a list of recommended bars and restaurants is a really good touch. We will be back.

The communication with Audrey was very good from the beginning and check in, following her instructions is very easy. We didn't know her but she was aware of anything that came up. Everything was perfect, from reception to departure! Elizabeth is very responsive and she is a little caring to offer us a perfect stay. The room is tastefully decorated in a cocooning atmosphere. The location is perfect in Bayeux to visit the city where everything is nearby. The view of the cathedral is simply beautiful !!! And to close, the breakfast is royal with a large variety, small crush for the French toast, a real treat!

Perfect location from which to explore and enjoy this lovely town. The apartment is on the top level of the house with beautiful views of the cathedral directly through the window. It has a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle), large shower, comfortable bed and chairs. Secured off-street parking is available (which is a huge plus!). We enjoyed meeting the Jardins and would definitely return!

The apartment at Le Manoir des Equerres was so charming and cozy. Marie is everything a host should be and more. She’s readily available with anything you might need for your stay as well as recommendations for activities and restaurants. The apartment is sparkling clean and the bath is large with enormous rainfall shower. The kitchen is cute and fully furnished. You can look out the windows into lush pastures with grazing horses and when walking in the garden, you might find a chicken waddling along beside you.

The perfect place from which to see the beautiful Normandy countryside! Marie was an excellent hostess and the house and grounds are lovely. You get that old-fashioned feel of staying in your gramdmother’s house—but with a nice shower and a Nespresso machine. Every morning we awoke to birdsong and were greeted by a horse through our bedroom window. The bed was comfortable and although you are in the house, you still had your privacy in the apartment. The WiFi was sketchy (we never did get on) but this may have been due to the recent storm and Marie was having someone come to fix it. We had excellent cellular coverage though. It was a quick drive into town and it couldn’t have been more perfectly located. Marie spoke both English and French and gave great local tips. If you’re heading to Normandy, this is a perfect launching spot.

Le Manoir des Equerres was just fabulous. I've stayed in quite a few big houses like this in France, and this one has all the great features of a genuine, authentic French living space. Marie's a wonderful host who loves her house and is proud and happy to allow others to enjoy it. Value was sensational - I'd say we were very lucky to be there in the early days! Very very happy to recommend.

Marie was on holiday but you would never know it, she took so many precautions and planned it so our stay was perfect. There was a bottle of sparkling wine on the table waiting for us, the bedroom and bathroom were absolutely wonderful, and the house is so close to Bayeux and the landing beaches. Would love to return.

Stayed here to visit Normandy Beaches and WW2 sights. Super cute place. Wi-Fi doesn't go thru the thick walls so we had to go to a nearby hotel lobby for internet stuff. Othwr than that, would totally recommend.

Great place to relax and enjoy the small town atmosphere. The fenced in backyard is perfect for your dogs to use the potty when you don’t have time to walk them or at those 0300 bathroom requests.

This apartment was perfect! Super solid location in town, walkable to everything, super clean and pretty perfect for the price. They have a guide in the check in book with pretty much everything you'll need to get around town and things to check out too (food/bars/sites). A lot of things in town were closed because I came in the off-season (January), but either way it's a beautiful city to walk around and check out, especially if you're coming up North to see Normandy. Highly recommend checking out the Cathedral for the awesome paintings inside too and the Battle of Normandy museum up the road!

So very helpful and kind and easy to communicate with, especially when our plans changed due to delayed trains. Perfect home and independent accommodation at the top. Carole gave us excellent advice for our visits with 2 teenagers to interest without flooding them with information. The accommodation is independent, nice and clean nickel. It is ideally located: quiet, less than 5 minutes drive from the beautiful city of Bayeux. We will return with pleasure!
