The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. Breathtaking natural scenery awaits you from the doorway.

We provide everything and more, so all you need to bring is your food and toiletries. We do not allow dogs in BIrch. With it sleeping a family we feel it it would compromise your comfort and space.

Upper Crumble a romantic retreat for two set in an idyllic rural location with beautiful views. It has its own Hot Tub in a private courtyard. Perfectly located to access The Lakes and the medieval village of Cartmel. Cosy log stove, Wifi and private car park. Our large private gardens can be viewed 4-6pm summer time or by arrangement and a map is left in the cottage. The Back Garden Section shows photos of these areas.

With a village green, playground and perfect location you can explore the wonderful Lake District and all its attractions.
