This place was incredible!!!! Mirva and her family were absolutely beautiful and such a pleasure to stay with. The barn is one of the most stunning places I have stayed and I would definitely love to go back!

This accommodation is perfectly located: easy walking distance to town, the river and a park just down the road. While the space is small, it is also thoughtfully fitted out to maximise the space there is and the hosts have left tips on how to do this, too. Mirva is a relaxed host who does not intrude, but is responsive. It's unique accommodation and my children adored the loft sleeping arrangement, while I liked the serenity and aesthetic sensibility of the place. Would definitely book again.

Great place to stay! We didn't use the sauna because it was already hot outside, but the pool was definitely great after a long day in the car. Absolutely recommended!

Heather’s place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all the amenities you need. The breakfast supplies were most welcome. Heather’s place is excellent value for money. She is a lovely host. We highly recommend staying there.

The Shouse is luxurious and so comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away with the kids. We loved hanging out at the house and fishing and canoeing on the river. Terry was really welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The Shouse is bloody awesome. You can walk down for swims in 5 min, beautiful views of the sunset from multiple locations and all the tools you could want in the kitchen. Also - an awesome coffee machine!

Not far from the suburbs but you feel like you’re much further away. A beautiful property with rolling hills, friendly horses and dogs. The morning fog was out of an art gallery. Charming and clean barn with everything you need to cook and relax. We fell asleep by the chiminea every night because it was so quiet and cosy. Thank you for giving us a recharge from the big smoke.

We had a wonderful break with our family. The property was beautifully presented in an amazing location. The deck was the perfect place to watch the river go by. The kids had a great time swimming and fishing from the wharf. We came away totally relaxed and would recommend to anyone.

A little bit of heaven. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this is the place for you. A real home away from home with everything that you need. Saying that, you will need very little as you can simply enjoy nature in its most exquisite form. We will return again and again.

This is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away...just a short drive from Sydney and a really short water taxi ride, it was very easy to get to. Mary and Johnathan were helpful prior to us arriving, they helped us arrange the water taxi and tinny and gave us a full run down of the property. The photo's of the property are spot on, although I think it's cuter in real life. Unfortunately we didn't get the sunny weather we'd hoped for, but that didn't matter. Our mornings were lazy, lying in bed taking in the view through our open french doors. Afternoon snoozes in the boat house listening to the gentle sounds of the water and sun downer drinks on the jetty. In the evening we challenged each other to darts and backgammon, followed by dinner on the veranda. We had a lovely weekend and would certainly recommend to others. We're hoping to return some day for sure.

Charming riverfront cottage with picture perfect views and access to the Hawkesbury. A gorgeous spot to get away - we lazed on the jetty, fished up and down the river and ate bbq dinners as the sun set. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Amaroo is a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy a short break, only a short drive from central Sydney. There are expansive views of the river from front deck of the main house and the atmosphere in the boat house on the water are magic. We spent hours watching the tidal river flows and fishing off the wharf. Don't be daunted by the boat-only access to the property. Our host Mary gave us all the information we needed to arrange the water taxi transfers (easy!) and helped us hire a tinny for our stay. The house is very comfortable and has bucket loads of old-world charm. It's a gorgeous place to get away from everyday life.

Amaroo is an idyllic cottage and boathouse that very easily and comfortably accommodated our family. Mary and Jonathan have created a cosy and practical space that is well-styled and equipped. The view is spectacular and the kids had a ball on the little private beach at the front of the property. We thoroughly enjoyed having a jetty attached to the property to secure our boat to. It was just an hour's drive and 10 min boat trip from our Sydney city home but felt a thousand miles away. Highly recommended property!

The cabin is perfect for a weekend away from Sydney. So close to the city but set in a relaxing rural area with nice walks in the national parks close by with lots of Kangaroos in the wild. The cabin is really cute, spacious and well equipped. The towns in the area have a lot of historical buildings and character and nice pubs for a dinner or drinks. Incredible value for money. Rebecca was super responsive and helpful. Fully recommend!

This little peaceful cabin was an absolute dream, my family 5 stayed for a couple days and had such a beautiful stay. The surroundings are great and the hospitality was above and beyond. 5 mins from probably the regions best coffee...The Vintage Pantry.

Sarah was a fantastic host who really went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well. She met us on arrival and made sure we had everything we need, and was very easy to contact during our stay if needed. She even ducked in to some local pubs to check that they were dog friendly for us (in 44 degree heat!) and recommended a few other great dog friendly spots for us to enjoy. Even though our dog didn't get along too well with hers, she was allowed to stay inside in the aircon or on the fenced deck when we went out, and Sarah always let us know when her dogs were loose on the property so we didn't have any issues. All in all it was a lovely stay and we'd definitely come back in the cooler months to enjoy the fire. Thanks Sarah!

The Chapel is such a beautiful building, the unique space is perfect for a relaxing, peaceful break from the city. Sarah was really helpful, she put the air con on for our arrival and communicated with us to ensure we had a pleasant check in experience. The deck area was great for unwinding especially at sunset with a glass of wine from the local wineries (Tizzana or Jubilee). The provisions in the fridge were a nice touch, delicious bacon and fresh eggs from the chickens on site made the perfect start to the day. We took our dog with us, he enjoyed his stay and meeting Sarah's friendly dogs. Would absolutely recommend.

If you are looking for a lovely weekend getaway look no further than The Chapel at Ebenezer. There is lots to do, visiting historic Windsor, the quaint St Albans, a scenic drive to Wiseman’s ferry and the Wiseman’s Ferry Inn with a gorgeous rock face as a backdrop. The locals are so friendly everywhere in the Hawkesbury and you can be forgiven for thinking you have driven a few hours into the country rather than an hour or so from Sydney. We absolutely enjoyed our relaxed and laidback stay, and Sarah and Chris are wonderful hosts with lots of suggestions about what to do while you are there.

Sarah is the most wonderful host and made my already comfortable stay even better. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The chapel was very clean and beautifully presented. We were able to check in with ease and Sarah even provided us with a freshly baked loaf and plenty of eggs for breakfast the next day. We enjoyed most meals on the deck, taking in the stunning surroundings and sat by the fire at night. It’s the perfect spot to unwind. I would highly recommend.

Faith’s place is a cute little cottage backing onto paddocks which house a few horses. We went for a lovely walk around the property. The place is clean and cosy and Faith is a friendly and caring host. We enjoyed our ‘rural’ stay and would recommend to other guests.

The place was just as described and the interior was very nicely fit out and decorated with everything you could need. Location was very nice, fireplace was great for this time of year and we were kept supplied with all the wood we could need, as well as being provided with a nice food box of local produce. Friendly animals also a bonus. Perfect place for a trip away for 2 people.

Sarah was wonderful in communicating promptly from the time of our booking request. We arrived to find a gorgeous stone chapel better than the photos and a welcome local fresh food hamper! The chapel was warm with the fireplace and just the perfect size for our weekend escape. We fed apples to her horses, had many visits from Ellie her dog and a very smoochy cat as well. Sarah was friendly but still left us to ourselves and respected our privacy. The chapel was close to the house but felt secluded. A wonderful weekend thank you Sarah

This was the perfect place for me and two of our daughters for 3 days. Our family was in Windsor for State Age Netball and we could not have had a better or more perfect experience. Sarah pampered us with local produce and even had a fire going when we arrived at midnight on the Friday.

We loved our stay at The Chapel, it was peaceful and relaxing, the chapel had everything we needed and was so nice to sit by the fire on a cold night. The grounds were beautiful and we loved our visits from Sarah's friendly dog and cat. Sarah was a fantastic host who left us to enjoy our time away but was easily contactable if we needed anything at all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a little down time and relaxation

One of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in! Marie was incredibly helpful, accomodating and easy-going, she made the whole check-in process so simple and smooth. I came up with my girlfriend and we were so comfortable, we honestly felt like we were moving into our first home!

Lovely place, it was more spacious than we expected, very clean and tastefully decorated. We used both the main bed and the sofa bed and both were comfortable. A great location for being near Kurrajong and surrounds, and a quiet and peaceful spot. Gerda-Marie was lovely, helpful and welcoming.

We stayed over the Easter weekend and had a great time. The place was well equipped and clean. The area is pretty quiet. North Richmond has some shops etc but you can drive out to see things like lookouts or go a bit further out to the Blue Mountains. Gerda-Marie was very nice, greeting us even when we arrived a little late in the evening to make sure we were all settled in. She made sure we had everything we needed and was contactable most of the time. I’d highly recommend this accomodation for a get away from Sydney.

Garda-Marie was a wonderful host and the apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Tennyson is a beautiful spot and I thoroughly recommend staying here if you are in the area for work, or are looking to explore the Hawkesbury and blue mountains.

Absolutely one of the best, most standout Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. Spotless doesn't even begin to describe how clean Angela's house and space is. It is impeccable, much like her hosting abilities. Anything you need, is there, she truly makes you feel like you are at home. Her home is huge, spacious, heated, cooled, the works. Great wifi around the house, the bathroom is luxurious and well stocked with all amenities, soaps, shampoos, towels that you'll ever need and exceeds some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. As Angela makes meals for fitness people, she makes some delicious meals which are available if you ask her, and her kitchen is also open to use at your will and she has graciously offered in her cupboard to use at leisure. In the room, the bed is warm, the linen of high quality and there is also a TV and desk available to work at. I fly in/out of Sydney often, I'll be staying here again. Thanks a lot Angela.

Stewart's place is very clean and the room is perfect, I was based there for 3weeks while I was working that side of the city and there is great off street parking in a safe and relatively quiet neighbourhood. I didnt use the kitchen or living room but the shared bathroom upstairs was always tidy and the other guest Elliot was polite and respectful. The shower was awesome and bathroom clean, I will stay here again if I am ever working up there. A***

The Innsfree solo retreat is a magical place surrounded by beautiful nature and incredible wildlife. Masih is an incredible soul and his kindness shines brightly. I originally booked for a few nights and that has extended because I feel very supported here by the land to sit in silence, fast and dive deep within the recesses of my being, with the peace and serenity this sacred place has to offer. What an amazing little space in the midst of the Australian bush :) I was looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to focus on some work I've been putting off for a while, and this was the perfect place - not only to get the work done but also to reflect and connect with nature! I visited for a 6-night solo retreat and will definitely return. Surrounded by nature, in quiet solitude, yet very safe and access to wifi when needed. I fell asleep each night to gorgeous views of a starry night sky, and woke to delightful birdsong. The cabin has been put together very thoughtfully, with all the creature comforts a yogi might need. Masih is such a warm and welcoming soul! Innisfree is a beautiful and relaxing space surround by Australian bush. The bird song in the morning was an incredible sound to wake to. I left feeling very peaceful and grounded and I can't wait to visit again!

Amber and Thomas offer their master bedroom as the guest room. The room is spacious with an ensuite. The front and back living areas are both sizeable , pleasant space to have a chill out cuppa and relax. Beaumont Shopping Centre is only a few minutes away where there is an IGA and a few restaurants.

Lovely hosts, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and comfortable.

Thomas and Amber are friendly and generous. The ensuite room is squeaky clean, located in a safe and friendly neighbourhood within vicinity of a supermarket and a lake if you wanna sit by and relax. Many parking spaces are available on the street, I had a double cabin ute and was able to park it easily. The check-in and check-out are very smooth as well, and the room is an excellent value for money.

Rebecca provided such a beautiful place to stop and stay at. The cottage is as exactly listed and very spacious. Once entered I felt very secluded from the surroundings and Rebecca certainly thought of everything needed. You won’t be disappointed staying here!!!

Lee's little cottage is just beautiful. It is everything you need for a relaxing get away. Pool is perfect for relaxing on a nice sunny day. All the other added extras are great also such as feeding bubbles and duke (ponies) Miss Izzy is also great to keep you company. (Dog) We will be definitely recommending to our friends and family.

We loved staying in Lee's cottage! Perfect size for us and our toddler. Loved the private pool with beautiful views over the mountains. Town isn't far away for a cafe breakfast, although the kitchen was more than well equipped for us to make our own meals. Ponies and the cutest little dog just topped it off :) Was the perfect midweek trip, only an hours drive from SW Sydney.

The first thing that one would notice is stunner view and trust us on this, it is spectacular. The cabin is perfectly located a secluded region of this property, without any disturbance or chaos what so ever. The hosts are super responsive and are reachable at anytime of the day. The cabin might look small but has everything that you need ! Very thoughtful touches by Jeanette. I would highly recommend visiting this place to relax, unwind and see nothing but the mountains

This is a really lovely little spot. Even though it isn’t super remote it is set up in a way that feels very private. You do get the very occasional car driving past on a nearby road but otherwise it is quiet and secluded. The cows are adorable and it was a lot of fun to feed them with the provided lucerne. The tiny house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Had a very enjoyable stay, wished we could have been longer

Kerribee is a lovely home, very relaxing, the atmosphere is so serene. Totally private. We’d go back again. We recommend this gorgeous home to stay at. Everything we needed we had, our bedroom was soo comfy. We didn’t feel rushed to leave the next day.

6Sixteen is a nice place to experience staying at a tiny house. The place was nicely decorated and sparkling clean! The view of race horses in the early morning and the night lights on the surrounding trees at the tiny house were an added attraction.

This place is absolutely stunning! It’s stylish, clean and it’s the perfect apot to relax and be surrounded by nature. Would definitely book again.

The perfect place for a getaway.

What an amazing little gem this place was! My partner and I were looking for accommodation as we had a wedding in Mount Tomah and struggled to find something close to the venue that was decent. I came across this place and although it was a little far but it was so worth it! Margaret kindly let us check in early and was so accommodating. The space was super clean, very neat and beautifully styled. We chose to sleep in the sofa bed rather than the upstairs bed so we could wake up to the views - was great! Wished we could have stayed another day! Highly recommend!!

6sixteen was such an awesome and interesting place to stay. It had all the amenities one could ask for and we had a great time relaxing on the hammock watching the birds and the view while flowers fell on us from the tree above. So surreal! Patreece was a great host and added thoughtful touches to the place that made us feel super welcome. We’d definitely stay here again!

Aileen’s Place is a great place to stay. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping centre, markets and coffee. Was enough room for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Aileen always responded quickly to any questions. Would highly recommend.

A cute and clean little cottage in the heart of Windsor. The only negative was that there was no milk frother but with ample cafes within a 2 minute walk, it’s only a small inconvenience not having one. Worth noting to others with larger vehicles, the driveway is quite steep and tight and proved to be difficult in my large 4WD.

Exactly as advertised. Lovely heritage home stay. Small home but well appointed, beds comfortable, towels luxurious, very clean, everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to dinner each night in historic Windsor, lots of choices of restaurants.

Mel was so accommodating with our last minute booking. With such a personable and friendly demeanour making me us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived. The beautiful, quiet scenery is a must if you’re planning an escape from the city. The guest house was presentable, very clean and it’s easy to tell Mel has an eye for interior design as the place was stunning from head to toe. I definitely will be coming back to stay!

My husband and I travel a lot for his work and we are always fussy about where we stay, but I can honestly say that this place is just amazing. The interior design is like something from a magazine cover! This place is so private and picturesque, it’s beautiful! Mel was such an amazing host on top of that , she really goes above and beyond , even fills up the fridge with goodies for you. We are already planning our next trip here! Very impressed.

Sweet place for a short weekend gateway from the city. White House in dream. Mel is a true decorator and designer. The place is fantastic from inside to outside. Lovely garden yard behind the cabin with lake. You could see sheep and cows from neighbors yards. You got a fridge with toast, butter, milk, oats, coffee, fruits and snacks. What can’t you say about this home?! It came fully prepared with complimentary snacks, a chill and relaxing vibe and a very aesthetically pleasing design! The views around the property were serene and allowed us to definitely unwind. Mel is an amazing host who kindly greeted us to the house. Beyond an exceptional stay and a must to come back again!

We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful haven in the picturesque Grose Wold Valley. The accommodation was nothing short of charming- so many gorgeous quality touches and very very comfortable. Our only regret was that we stayed just one night. It would be a wonderful place for a weekend retreat with time to explore the area. The property was secluded and peaceful and only a short drive to The pretty township of Kurrajong. We couldn’t recommend Mel’s property more highly. Thank you Mel!!!

Mel's white house is stunning. I fell in love with the decor and space. Mel has thought of all the lovely little extra touches and was a great host throughout the booking/arrival process. This Airbnb has all the luxuries of a hotel, we had a beautiful little mini break!

Absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway, the space is large yet cosy, and the deck has an amazing view. We had pretty terrible weather but the house was lovely to lounge in all day. Matthew the host is very responsive and helpful, as was Sally the cat. Would recommend for a peaceful stay.

We had an excellent stay. I will definitely be back. Only just over an hour from Sydney but feels like hours away. A perfect weekend away, beautiful area with so much to do in the surrounding areas and some great cafes with food and great coffee, and a great cosy house to stay in with all anyone would need for an amazing weekend away (hot tub, patio with the most beautiful outlook for watching the sunset, large spaces, plenty of seating, beautiful fireplace, Netflix, all kitchen amenities). Hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Truly felt at home. A perfect weekend I cannot recommend this one highly enough.

This house is amazing!!! You will not regret if you book! Beautiful views, so relaxing, the owner Matthew makes you feel so welcome and even invited us up to his place for a huge bonfire, you have your own little fire pit, own bbq and the jacuzzi is to die for! Beautiful get away that is quite close but feels so far away!!! The house is nice and clean and has everything you need! Will defiantly stay again !! Thankyou!!!

What a fantastic place in a much needed time. Jeremy and Annette we’re above and beyond in every way. We had a few hard weeks at work, but the Coxs Cottage provided a very safe and relaxing refuge. The pictures didn’t do the cabin justice. There is a cool factor to the 1870 construction that you just can’t find anywhere else. My little boy really dug the dogs and horse. Since I work in Richmond, and live elsewhere, I will be a regular. Thank you guys for the wonderful few weeks.

Masih was such a welcoming host and both cabins are unique and so tranquil. My partner and I escaped here from the city and it couldn’t have been an easier or more satisfying stay. The Kurrajong landscape is beautiful and even the local shops have a lovely charm. Would love to stay again.

Absolutely stunning space, set in secluded patch of bushland, with trees & birds from all directions. Waking up to the sound of the bush & views of the gums was exactly what we needed to rest & reset this weekend. If you need to unwind & be still, this is the perfect place. The cabin has everything you need, including extra blankets & A/C if the nights are cooler, great kitchenette with kettle, toaster & hotplates, great shower & thoughtful touches throughout. The place is absolutely beautiful - Masih & his father have created a truly wonderful space. Loved every second, highly recommend to all.

A lovely older style house that provided all we required.

Kim's place was everything I needed and a very easy place to stay for me and my dogs. Had a lovely relaxing feel to sit outside on the back verandah with my dogs in the backyard. It also was immaculately presented inside.

Kim was very welcoming on arrival and the house was clean and comfortable. The fenced yards were great for letting our dogs stretch their legs safely and with space to park dog trailers off the road.
