Restaurant
“The Casino of Estoril is about 10 minutes walking from Cascais, and offers many forms of entertainment besides being a casino. Very nice restaurants (Mandarin - the best Chinese in Portugal), a lounge where many concerts take place (several of them completely free), Jezebel the nightclub (the only decent one in the area) and the gardens in front of the casino, beautiful place and where many events take place. ”

Café
“If you come here on the weekends especially, you will see the Porsche 911, Mercedes GT, Bentley, Maserati all parked outside. In a normal cafe, coffee will be around 1-1.20, here it is around 2 euro. Drinks and pastries are around 25-50% more but it is worth it and we are talking about a few euros more for the whole bill. The pastries are really good, great location, great cafe. ”

“"Casa da Guia" Its a amazing place, about 23 km from downtown in the way to Guincho. Located right above the ocean. Its one of those spots where you can spend a whole afternoon. Its a 19th century palace, where you can shop, have a lunch, drink tea, sunbathe and pick plants. Nice Restaurants and terraces in the garden inside.”

Bar
“Bar and restaurant located at the Guincho beach. Late nights and with terrace, with stunning views over the sea and beautiful beach sunsets. Sportive relaxed atmosphere, sometimes with live music. Cosy wooden chalet. Sun exposed tables outdoors at wooden terrace, that has wind protections in glass. During the day is also fun to order snacks, exotic fruit juices and ice-creams. Good burgers, appreciated by children and teens.”

“It is said to be the best place to have sea food in the region. It is very casual and sometimes crowded. The restaurant has a long 50-years-tradition and is still run by its founder. It is opened from 12:00-01:00 a.m. everyday except Mondays. ”

Bakery
“It is a chain of coffee shops and bakeries in Portugal. Here you can have a nice lunch (soup of the day, sandwich, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice) for some 7 euros. We recommend the chicken sandwich or mozarella if you prefer no meat. The atmosphere is very cozy and friendly. There is a big table for everybody to seat together. But you can also have a private table, if it free. Remember that in Portugal most of restaurants are closed between 15:00-19:00 pm. However, Padaria is opened! There could be a smaller choice of meals available though. ”
