Park
“For the adventurous looking for serious woods, solitude and stunning overlook views of the Huron River. A bit of a challenge to find access points or even a parking space. But if you figure it out it is well worth it. Best in early spring or early fall when the leaves are down and your visibility is the best, .... and no mosquitos!”

“Vets Memorial Park Pool offers fun during the summer months, and ice skating in the winter months. Movie nights and splash events are organized - refer to the City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation website for event details. Admission is for the whole day, so you may leave and return later. Located diagonally from Westgate shopping center. ”

Disc Golf
“One of my favorite hidden spots in the city, make sure you check out Bandemer Park. The dock is great to hang out on but be respectful of crew team members - they own the dock can close it down if people abuse the open access they generally allow. The park also has walking paths and a disc golf course for you to enjoy.”

Park
“Great for the young kids that need a play structure, slide or swing. Mom's this is a great spot that is less than a block away, directly south on Eighth Street, at the bottom of the hill.”

Park
“No need to get in the car. Just walk 150 years south down Westover and you will find the trail head into Dolph Park. Trails lead to overlooks of First Sister and Second Sister Lakes. Small enough that it's not likely you'll get lost, but it's helpful to have your mobile phone to find your way to the nearest exit when you're hiked out. ”
