Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rubavu

We love this rustic cottage and having access to the private beach! Plus there are a few great beachside bar / restaurants within walking distance. The property staff are very friendly and helpful; they even started a fire for us on a cold night. Only tip for other guests is to bring cooking supplies (oil, salt, coffee, etc.) and toilet paper as well as bath towels, since these weren’t supplied and shops aren’t close by. 10/10 recommend. Already looking forward to the next chance to visit!

Cheikh’s place met my expectations.. so clean, private, get all equipments for home .. not far from market.. well I really do enjoyed my stay there… whenever I get back at Gesenyi I will always go at his place… Thanks Cheikh..

My third time here, and another great stay! The location is phenomenal-- a private & tranquil refuge with plenty of space, right on the water, tucked away among a string of hotels/restaurants in easy walking distance. The interior feels a bit un-lived-in but is comfortable enough. Ezekiel the guard was kind and helpful. Only two notes: 1) The AirBnB-mapped location is way off; true location is just below Inzu, per the listing description. 2) No wifi when we were there, which would have been very nice to know beforehand. Heri's home might be the most beautiful place to stay in Gesenyi. There are few words to capture how magical her garden is -- hundreds of plants, foliage of all kinds, birds singing to greet you in the morning. Heri's home exceeded our expectations in every way. The delicious homemade breakfast outside on the patio each morning was such a treat. Heri is a wonderful host and her kindness made us feel so at home. We would highly recommend staying at Pazzuri!

Serge was very attentive before our trip. The place is simple and small, but clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The beach and grounds are absolutely fantastic. We stayed here a few years ago and hadn't been back because of the loud music at the hotel next door, but it seems that problem has been solved.

Wonderful location with well-maintained property and rooms and a fully equipped kitchen, right by the lake. Definitely planning to return to this spot.

A simple "coastal retreat", Serguei's property is very nice with a private beach - a great place to escape to. Serguei was wonderful and attentive to our needs during our stay. We'll be back to escape again.

The house was perfect! The gate man was helpful and kind. We always felt safe, and it was so quiet! Jessica the house manager was always avaliable! She responded immediately for every question and with any help we needed! She was kind and so helpful! I recommend this accomodation 100%! She was also flexible with a change in our schedule! We are SO THANKFUL! If we return, we are definitely coming back!

My stay at the resort was fantastic! The apartment was perfect and the view of Lake Kivu right outside was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to see the lake each morning made the experience truly special. Highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone visiting Rwanda!
