My third time here, and another great stay! The location is phenomenal-- a private & tranquil refuge with plenty of space, right on the water, tucked away among a string of hotels/restaurants in easy walking distance. The interior feels a bit un-lived-in but is comfortable enough. Ezekiel the guard was kind and helpful. Only two notes: 1) The AirBnB-mapped location is way off; true location is just below Inzu, per the listing description. 2) No wifi when we were there, which would have been very nice to know beforehand. We love this rustic cottage and having access to the private beach! Plus there are a few great beachside bar / restaurants within walking distance. The property staff are very friendly and helpful; they even started a fire for us on a cold night. Only tip for other guests is to bring cooking supplies (oil, salt, coffee, etc.) and toilet paper as well as bath towels, since these weren’t supplied and shops aren’t close by. 10/10 recommend. Already looking forward to the next chance to visit!

Serge was very attentive before our trip. The place is simple and small, but clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The beach and grounds are absolutely fantastic. We stayed here a few years ago and hadn't been back because of the loud music at the hotel next door, but it seems that problem has been solved.

A simple "coastal retreat", Serguei's property is very nice with a private beach - a great place to escape to. Serguei was wonderful and attentive to our needs during our stay. We'll be back to escape again.

I loved and enjoyed staying at this place, it felt just like home. The home is beautiful and very peaceful if you are looking to rest well in Gisenyi it's the right place to be. The host was very responsive and helpful and Donata and Eric who maintain the place amazingly were very much helpful and welcoming. it is also a nice home if you have a family and want to visit Gisenyi as it's location is near most of the staff including the beach which is 5 min drive. I really loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a calm place to rest while enjoying Gisenyi.
