Alex's place was larger than expected. An awesome space for relaxation, close to shops and not too far to beach. We'll be back : )

Nicki and Bruce are really warm and friendly hosts. We had a great chat about family and farming which was really interesting. Bruce took us on a tour of the farm the next day and told us about their animals and crops. We met their puppies and had a wonderful relaxing stay. I would really love to go back one day.

Bill &Jan, your hospitality was outstanding and very welcoming, your knowledge and information about the local people and area was very helpful, the accommodation is old wordly wonderful, highly recommend, what an amazing friendly part of the country, see you again, Kim and Luke.

Tranquil, stay in an out of way fishing location in a roomy, clean house with tidy garden and sea views. It was a nice overnight stop to break up the journey around the east cape/tairawhiti.

Pine's place was fantastic, he is an amazing host and I would highly recommend staying here.

We just loved it. The cottage was like a home away from home…even came with a cat visit. Hosts were awesome, we would have loved to stay longer. Cottage was really well equipped, too. Can highly recommend and hope we will make it back one day.

We were blown away by the very pleasant home after a long drive on twisty roads. I especially loved the recliners that allowed a relaxing change from the car. The beds were great, although sleep time was too short since we met our guide for Mt. Hikurangi at 4:00 am. In short, it was an amazing experience and one we will remember for a long time.

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if needed. Vaughan was very hospitable as soon as I arrived. I definitely recommend staying at Vaughan and Rita's Airbnb. It is clean & warm, very cozy much like home and the surroundings are amazing. Thanks again very much appreciated.

A really peaceful and beautiful place to stay. A warm welcome by the host and the dog. So much history in the area and very friendly people. Loved it. Great meals at the local hotel.
