we felt like it was an absolute honor to stay in this artistic tribute to all things wonderful - whether a picture of a giraffe peering in the window to see what you are cooking, or a small plastic pig figurine looking down from above the shower. What an experience and we suspect each item displayed has a rich story that could go along with it. The artful displays provide a rich coziness to the experience in this large home. The owner keeps the place spotless and supplied with anything you might need. She is a super communicator and readily available to assist in any way. This is a place you do not want to miss - it is as unique as they come and very comfortable!

what a wonderful stay! it is so peaceful here. Jaya's place is very comfortable, I felt right at home. The bed is very comfortable and so many amenities to keep us busy. we love watching the friendly deer! 🦌

Hacienda was more than perfect for the bachelorette! The space was great for 7 of us girlies and very clean. Hosts were available if we ever needed anything, clear instructions on entering the bnb and even allowed us in a little early. Highly recommend this bnb for anyone visiting for a bachelorette or birthday! Easy drive to downtown or local restaurants as there’s everything you need nearby. Thank you for a great place!

Great communication, location within steps to the brewery, lots of activities

The location was perfect for us, and there's a beautiful little park right behind the house that includes a playground. The master bathroom is gorgeous, the whole house was clean, and had everything we needed.

did give this a 10 out of 10 me and my kids loved it beautiful peaceful and so close to everything we had planned. so it was easy to get everything done in the short time we were there we will definitely look this stay again. Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Jessa and Blake’s guesthouse. Clean, cozy, cute space, and welcoming. Has everything you’ll need. Even though the address is on a busy road the guesthouse is very quiet. Easy parking on the side streets. Sheets and towels are good quality. The bed is VERY comfortable. Plenty of hangars for clothes. Air conditioning worked great. Water pressure was good. If you come back at night walkways are illuminated and a motion sensor light comes on. The neighborhood is one of Austin’s originals so if you like houses with character this is the spot. Grocery stores and places to eat within a ten minute drive. Would absolutely come back and stay at the guest house!

The sunrise casita was exactly what we needed. It was easy to feel comfortable in this peaceful place. I absolutely appreciated how dog friendly it is. And a great location..far enough away to see all the stars at night but close enough to grab anything last minute, if needed. I would definitely love to visit again or even have a family event here since there are multiple lodging options. Overall it was a great getaway!

The process to find the casita is a bit complicated, as the address doesn’t fully match where the property is, but if you follow the check in directions exactly you shouldn’t have a problem (checking in after sundown does make it more complicated though). The place itself it perfect though! Exactly as described! Would definitely return!

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

The casita was an excellent weekend getaway for us! The space was masterfully decorated and full of small details and touches from Dawn that really made the place shine. My wife especially loved the fresh eggs and sweet cream in the fridge. We would love to come back again in the future!

We had a great stay at this home and really appreciated how communicative the host was-always quick to respond to any questions. The home felt very “lived in,” which we actually appreciated for a kid-friendly stay. The photos were accurate overall, though the exterior was more overgrown than expected and the trampoline looked a bit “play at your own risk.” That said, our kids had an amazing time with the seemingly endless toys, and it was a huge relief not having to bring bulky items like a stroller or a Pack ‘n Play, since they’re here. The beds were very comfortable, the A/C kept us cool during a hot Austin weekend, and having a good washer/dryer made life easier. The location is definitely a strong point—easy access to some great local spots, including Launderette and Bufalina, both of which we’d highly recommend. Check-out was simple. Our only real suggestion would be a deeper cleaning refresh to match the overall comfort and utility. This place is equipped for families!

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin! Quiet and relaxing…plus was seeing all the native birds right outside the front porch!

Had a great time here, the area was peaceful and the on-site parking was specially useful as a car is a must in Austin. Tobin is responsive and was able to fix any issues quickly, as well as giving useful recommendations.
