Stayed in Mary’s place for a wedding in Kilronan Castle. It’s an ideal location for such an occasion. Mary provided you with everything required including taxi details etc. Will definitely be staying again if I have anything on there.

We stayed at Neil and Avril's BnB after a short day flight in from Barcelona on our way home to the U.S. The house is easy to find and everything was wonderful, very warm and cozy. They have off street parking available. We had booked a smaller room, but without asking they had upgraded us to the Willow Room. The room (and house) are beautiful and nicely restored and furnished with antique furniture and such. Avril was a hoot to talk with and she pointed us at a few local places to eat and get a drink. Athlone Castle, Sean's Bar and The Bailey are all an easy 10 minute (or less) walk from the house. Given parking in town, it's easier to just walk it and better exercise! We took Avril (a trained chef) up on a really fantastic breakfast in the dining room and we were not disappointed. There is a small charge for this but you won't find better or cheaper! Neil and Avril are very warm, kind people- representative of our experience in Ireland as a whole. Thanks so much to you both!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It had such beautiful views right outside the bedroom window, and Waldo & Jirka were so friendly. We were delighted to have such great conversations over breakfast-which was delicious!! As animal lovers, we felt right at home with all of their adorable pets around. 1000/10! We’re already looking forward to our next stay with them!

We had our first night's stay in Ireland here at Athlone after arriving into Dublin from Australia. After parking nearby out the front, it was an easy check-in, we were greeted by a friendly host, and we found traditional bars & pubs nearby. Our room was comfortable & cosy, the shared lounge & kitchen area was full of unique books, collectables & items of interest. Amazing & quirky place to stay.
