Beachfront vacation rentals in Roscommon County

Beautiful location and great weekend getaway. The cabin was quaint and homey, felt very clean, with just enough room inside. There was a group of families staying the same weekend as us and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around. There’s a great beach area to lay and relax and a swimming area far from any boat traffic. Great place, definitely hoping to go back.

Doug was great. Check in was easy and he even let us check in early and drop our stuff off when we had a 10AM event!

My girlfriend and I went on a spontaneous trip and needed a place last minute. Tom responded very quickly and gave clear instructions. Very smooth check in process!

Absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. Perfect amount of space. Very clean. Beautiful scenery. Tom has great response times and was extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

Brandi’s place is the perfect lake vacation. She had a lot of extras we were not even expecting; kayaks, lily pad, paddle board, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and they have an extra fridge in the garage. The yard was perfect for our cornhole. Neighbors were very nice and two even joined us for a drink on our patio (we offered). Brandi was very responsive to all communication.

We secured a cabin with Whitetail Family Resort on short notice due to family circumstances. The booking was swift and simple with quick responses from Tom and his crew. The cabin was very accommodating, especially for having two dogs. Good pricing for a nice scenic view of Houghton Lake North Bay. It was a clean cabin and was more spacious than the pictures show. We added another day at ease with a discounted price. I recommend these cabins to anyone else with a family and dogs.

I know they are just getting things fixed for use and will continue to make improvements. Cabin was better than expected. Perfect spot. Exactly what I wanted. We are already talking about the next trip! can't wait to see what new things are done by the summer!

this was our fourth time at this property and we enjoyed ourselves greatly! couldn't have asked for better weather for being on the lake! there were far less spiders and seaweed along the water line and on the dock than what we've dealt with in earlier stays, so if this was due some preparation, and not just natural course, it was definitely noticed and appreciated. one minor complaint was that we weren't able to open some of the windows in the master bedroom and temps exceeded 85 degrees in the house due exceptionally warm weather. we were able to get a good breeze going through the upstairs with a couple box fans, so ultimately we were able to achieve adequate comfort. will most likely return again next year!

The crowned shore cottage on Houghton Lake hosted by Sonia was top notch! It is great lake house. The house was stocked w all cooking utensils, toilet paper, laundry pods, and coffee. Drawers and cabinets are conveniently labeled. The AC works well. The house has a nice private backyard (grassy) with a wonderful bonfire area. There is a wonderful tree that provides shade throughout the day, and picnic tables on the patio allowed for outdoor meals. We brought our 21’ super air nautique. We enjoyed skiing, wake surfing, and tubing all week. The house is a block away from the DNR boat launch which was super convenient. The water is shallow at the end of the dock, only about 2.5 ft. It was great for the kids to play in, but it made things tricky with the boat. The pontoon we rented had no issues with that depth. There is super soft sand from the shore past the end of the dock! We will be back for sure. Thank you Sonia for sharing your wonderful home.

We really enjoyed the house and location on the lake. The house was very nice with all the amenities a family would need for a stay at the lake. We would definitely come back again!

A beautiful property with lots of room and a modern amenities. The bedding and furniture in the house was very comfortable and clean. Overall a great experience for my extended stay.

Nicki was very responsive and the space was exceptionally peaceful. We loved the lake access and kayaks. We already look forward to booking with her again!

Great Hosts! Wonderful weekend for our four families that shared 2 of the cabins. We had 6 kids 5 and under and it was the perfect set up for a lot fun activities on and off the water. We really enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards. The activity shed was great and had a lot kids life jackets. Nice, shallow water for the kids, sandy beach areas, grassy yard and fire pit area. The cabins were stocked so well for all the cooking and grilling. We can’t wait to book again next summer!

Beautiful lake home. Everything is very nice & comfortable. We enjoyed the getaway very much. Loved looking at the peaceful lake. The updates are very tastefully done. Looks like a lot of time invested into every detail. It’s well stocked-lots of games too. Restaurants, stores, ice cream all within 5 miles. Highly recommend for R&R on a big lake. Thank you!

Upon arrival, Ken and his daughter were just putting the finishing touches on this gorgeous house. The place is immaculate and cozy. They had everything we could have ever needed and were beyond hospitable. Recent renovations looked nice and sleek. The view was incredible! Would love to come back again!

Last minute booking to get away for a night at a very reasonable price. Even allowed my girlfriend and I to check in a few hours early if we arrived before check in. Very peaceful and right on the water, close to downtown. I would recommend family or friends to use this host for a nice peaceful getaway.

Wonderful home on Long Lake! Enjoyed our stay here last year so much our girls golf group all wanted to return. The house is well equipped and very welcoming. The outdoor space is great, everything from kayaks to fire pit, ready for use! The beautiful, huge upper deck was great for grilling and enjoying our meals outdoors, viewing lake activity and the new Edison light strings were stunning! There was plenty of room for our group of nine. Communication with Teresa was outstanding, quickly responding to our questions. Thank you again Teresa for accommodating our group!
