Hello! I have a very comfortable room with a double bed. TV, towels, wardrobe, tea and coffee facility. Two shared bathrooms with showers and one bath. A Finnish Sauna. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Travel cot available. We're near to the beaches, Heligan Gardens, Charlestown, Mevagissy and the Eden Project. Lots to see and do here or just relax!

The space
Restored Victorian home. Good sized rooms, comfortable. Near amenities, restaurants and tourist attractions. We have a Finnish Sauna if required at a nominal charge of ten pounds. Two bathrooms, washing facilities for clothes, storage for bikes in the shed or garage (locked). A quiet room. TVs in each guest room. Plenty of fluffy towels. Tea and coffee making facilities. A small den for young children to play in under the stairs which my grandchildren love! A travel cot is available for baby or toddler on request. BBQ available for use in the back garden. A lovely dinning room with a fab selection at breakfast. My space is unique because a lot of love has gone into making it a good place to stay and relax away from the stresses of everyday life.

Guest access
Please feel at ease to make use of the kitchen, the dinning room, utility room and the quiet living room. Other bedrooms are private. I don't have locks on the doors as people visiting are respected and each room is private.

Other things to note
Finnish sauna available with notice as need to turn on and heat up! There is a charge of ten pounds for this facility.

Definitely The Eden Project and Charlestown for a leisurely stroll to see the galleon and the wonderful harbour! We often find film crews in Charlestown and a lot of the residents there are film extras in big productions like Poldark. A few months ago Tom Hardy was filming which was fab as half of Cornwall turned up, mostly women I will add! There are some beautiful local beaches all around us so there are plenty to choose from. St Mawes, Perranporth, Carlyon Bay, Newquay are all worth a visit. The thing is Cornwall is the place to relax. It really is a magical place.

I like clean living, reading and dog walking with Pip, a very characterful dog I share with my daughter! I live in Saint Austell town and have a double bedded room available and a baby and child travel cot if needed. My favourite places apart from here are Port Antonio in Jamaica, Switzerland and The Netherlands. There are many beautiful and interesting places in the world it's actually hard to choose one place! I was a landlady in London's Docklands before coming to Cornwall. I want people to enjoy themselves and appreciate all of the beautiful places right on my doorstep! Love a good coffee in the morning! Not keen on Hollywood blockbuster type films but love independent world cinema. My musical taste is varied and I used to know a lot of bands in the Seventies and Eighties! Some are still going today! Years ago in the Old Days I travelled and visited twenty four countries, fourteen of which I worked in. I did TV and radio and once worked in the North Sea! My world view is humanistic. Respect and courtesy go a long way and my life mottoes are:- Happiness is the highest form of health. It's a long road that does no turning! Love international cuisine and have eaten some very strange foods in the past! Some I might regret if I gave it a lot of thought. I travelled in a gondola, a bullet train in Japan, a range rover across a desert in Africa and the usual trains, boats and planes and lived with many different people including the Masai in Kenya, a wonderful Japanese family and my partner in Holland. Life is an adventure so it's important to grab as many opportunities as you can, while you can! There's a warm welcome for business and tourist travellers alike at my home. Good Airbnb travelling! Hope to see you soon! Gail x
