Come stay in a clean, comfy, quiet room with private bath. Safe, newer neighborhood just 10 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to Old Town Sac and the Capitol, 10 minutes to Golden 1 Center, 2 minutes to Sleep Train Arena, 5 minutes to Board of Registered Nursing. 2 nearby parks, bike paths, Bikram Yoga, OrangeTheory Fitness and Starbucks.

The space
Enjoy Convenience, Peace & Quiet... Easy to find, convenient, right off the I-5 highway, near I-80 in a quiet, safe neighborhood.

I am following Airbnb guidelines for cleaning, leaving time between guests so I can sanitize thoroughly.

Important: Typically you would have access to most areas of my home for relaxing etc. but with the current conditions we're living in it would be best to stay in your room area and the outside back patio. You are welcome to put things in the frig or freezer and heat items in the microwave but please no cooking. Please eat in your room or on the patio to limit our exposure to each other.

High-speed WiFi is available throughout the house. Please note: There is no TV in the bedroom.

The bed is a queen with quality sheets, and quite comfy I'm told. The room has a closet with hanging drawers and hangers for your use. It also has central heat and air as well as a ceiling fan.

I have this great lightweight room divider that you can put across the hallway. This will give you complete privacy to leave your bedroom door open and walk between the bedroom and bathroom without need to throw something on. Also, keeps Marcos and Addie, the dogs out of your room if you like to keep your door open.

Bottled water, snacks, an in-room pod coffee maker, assorted teas and alarm clock are provided.

In the bathroom you'll find plenty of extra towels, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. If you forgot something I'm sure I'll be able to help you out.

Guest access
You are free to come and go as you wish.

There is plenty of free, safe parking on the street in front of my home.

Please make yourself at home in your room and outdoor patio area. The washer/dryer and iron/ironing board are available for you to use.

Other things to note
I want you to feel comfortable. You can normally check-in after 5:00pm. If you need an earlier check-in just let me know. I'll do my best to accommodate you.

My kitchen is available for light use only. Heating things up, making sandwiches or salads. There's always room in the fridge or pantry to store your food items or leftovers.

I can also give you recommendations for local restaurants that are open for take-out or delivery. There is a wonderful Belair market nearby where you could purchase grocery items as well.

I'm located right off of I-5 near the I-80 interchange. Very convenient to the airport (just 10 minutes away 7.8 miles) and 2 minutes to Sleep Train Arena. Golden 1 Center, Rivercats Stadium, Old Sac, Capitol, Discovery Park (all about a 10 minutes drive).

Super safe neighborhood - two parks within walking distance.

Less than a mile away is a Starbucks, Thai Princess restaurant, yogurt shop, UPS store, Belair Market, Round Table Pizza, Bikram Yoga, OrangeTheory Fitness, bike & walking paths.

Within a couple of miles is every kind of shopping you might want from Target to In-N-Out Burger.

I've been living in the Sacramento area for about 10 years, moved from the Bay area and originally from Chicago. I moved around quite a bit in my 20's living all over the US until I fell in love with Northern California. I enjoy good food, wine, conversation, books, exploring new places and things. I just learned to kayak, a great way to cool off in the summer and de-stress. Of course, I love my dogs. They are both rescues and enrich my life tremendously. My career has been in wireless sales management for 30+ years. I am also a Reiki Energy Healer, Psychic-Medium, Certified Angel & Tarot card reader with a passion to assist others and their pets on life's journey.

During your stay
I'm happy to hang out or leave you in peace, whichever you prefer. I am very open minded and welcome people of all backgrounds, religions and am LGBTQ friendly.

My dogs: Marcos is friendly and well-behaved - more often than not :). He is an older, calm dog and enjoys company. Please don't pick Marcos up. He acts like he wants you to but he really just wants a pet. He'll cry out if picked up.

And now there is Addie my new pup. She's 13 months old at the end of April. My home is a bit more active right now and I do hope you'll have a bit of patience as I'm working through her training. I adopted her from a shelter where she was one of 20 dogs rescued from one yard. She and her two littermates were extremely underweight, couldn't walk due to numerous foxtails embedded in their feet along with blistered pads. She is a bit shy at first but is super sweet and very smart. Please do not leave your bedroom door open when you are not in your room! She loves shoes and socks to chew on.

I work from home most days:
I have 20+ years of experience as a Reiki Energy Healer, Psychic-Medium and am a Certified Angel & Tarot Card Reader. If you are interested in healing or a reading for yourself or your pet at home (at an extra cost) please let me know.

I accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, Square Cash and PayPal for any additional services.
