Within close proximity to the city centre lies Lebrena, an example of early Hobart architecture. Lebrena offers an ideal location to base yourself for easy access to many attractions in and around Hobart including Hobart CBD, Salamanca market and the MONA ferry (all within easy walking distance) Also on the way to Kunanyi (Mount Wellington)
Complete with your own private kitchen, bathroom, lounge, balcony & free wifi.

The space
Staying at Lebrena is like taking a step back into Hobart's rich and vibrant past, except with all of the modern conveniences that go together to create a memorable holiday.
Your fully self contained apartment has two queen-sized bedrooms, a single bedroom and a lounge room sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, lounge/dining and balcony. The stunning views change with the seasons and offer picture post-card memories.
The kitchen is stocked with basics and the nearby grocery offer a wide variety of Tasmanian specialties, heat and eat meals and fresh produce to enjoy.

Meals can be catered by prior arrangement, if requested.

The apartment is warm and cosy in winter, each room is heated and the beautiful original sandstone walls hold a lovely even temperature.

Other things to note
We happily welcome pampered pooches inside. A pet cleaning fee of $50 per stay is requested.

South Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

South Hobart's natural landscape is even older than its convict past and Hobart's surrounding scenery embodies the city's immortal spirit. Climb to the pinnacle of Mount Wellington and watch the frosty little town with its little yachts gliding across the harbour. Warm yourself up with some bush walking and mountain biking or do it all in the comfort of your heated vehicle.

Hi. We have been married for 35 years - and have a shared passion for travel, which we have passed on to our children. It has also helped that Glenn shares an Austrian heritage, and Gina a Greek heritage through respective fathers. We have travelled extensively to visit family and friends and discover new and wonderful places and can't wait to hear your stories of travel. We have lived here all our lives and are very excited with the direction Tasmania is heading - especially as we also share a passion for great food and fine wines! We now have some of the finest foods and drinks in the world with an internationally renowned museum, festivals and marvellous natural rugged landscapes. Glenn fell in love with the beautiful grand old Lebrena, a Henry Hunter designed 1876 sandstone mansion. We share Lebrena with you now, as an AirBnB experience while we begin the long journey to return it to its former glory. We hope you will stop here a while and enjoy all that there is from our humble beginnings of something that hopefully will turn into a majestic and grand project.
