Welcome to my beautiful home. Relax in wonderful surroundings, lovely bedroom and delicious breakfast. My home is situated in a quiet, tree lined street just minutes walk from Salthill promenade or a short bus journey into Galway city. Sleeps 2 in one room with king sized bed. There is a second bedroom available to book if your party is larger than 2persons.

The space
Welcome to my beautiful home where you will find all the comforts of home from home. My home is situated just 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Salthill promenade. The bus stops outside my house which will take you into the city center in 10 minutes or alternatively you can walk along the sea front and breath in the fresh invigorating Atlantic air!

I offer a complimentary breakfast of juice, home made scones and preserves with tea and coffee. I have a second doubled bedroom that sleeps an additional 2 guests.

My home is situated in the village of Salthill which has an array of coffee shops, restaurants and night life. The beautiful promenade runs into the oldest part of Galway, the Claddagh, and from there to the Spanish Arch and the Latin Quarter of Galway.

The city offers a wonderful eclectic mix of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and shops. In addition, it is a medieval city with numerous walking tours, theaters, art galleries and all that Galway as the cultural capital of Ireland has to offer. At the weekend, it hosts a farmer's market in front of the medieval St. Nicholas' Cathedral where you can meet the locals and tourists, the famous and not so famous in search of artisan food, jewellery and crafts. For those looking for more rugged landscape, Galway is the gateway to Connemara, renouned for its wild, beautiful and romantic scenery. There are many bus tours to take you to Connemara and the Arran Islands so a car is not a necessity. The Cliffs of Moher are another 'must' and the tour bus will collect you at my home. From Dublin Airport and Dublin City a non-stop bus gets you to Galway in under 3 hours! So why not come here and sample the delights of a truly unique city...and a very warm welcome from Kathryn!!

Hi my name is Kathryn! I live in the beautiful seaside village of Salthill… 2km from Galway City. I love to walk our beautiful promenade, hike in connemara, cycle around the city and attend my local gym. Galway is the cultural capital of Ireland and I am an enthusiastic follower of the theatre, the wonderful music scene and all that the arts have to offer. In my down time I cook, bake and spend enjoyable hours in my garden.
