This gorgeous Stone cottage has been built from the local stone collected from the surrounding land. Built with recycled timbers and antique building materials it looks like it has been there for more than a century. It has just been fully renovated and has all new appliances. The bathrooms have floor heating to keep you cosy in winter. Enjoy beautiful views across our secluded little valley from your private balcony or the outside eating area. Close to beaches, Gerringong and Kiama.

The space
The cottage has two spacious floors as well as a private balcony and courtyard for total relaxation. Downstairs, you can cook up a storm in the kitchen, unwind in front of the fire, or curl up on the lounge. Upstairs is a large bedroom with stunning views from the private balcony to the rainforest and pastures. Indulge in a hot bath in the upstairs clawfoot bathtub.
The cottage is very spacious but exclusively for couples.
We are pet friendly, but we would appreciate it if you let us know when bringing a pet. Please note there is no fenced in yard. I would prefer if the dog wasn't left inside alone for long periods. Please note a pet fee applies.
You have private outdoor spaces to enjoy as well. Leading off the upstairs bedroom is a balcony that takes in the beautiful views – the perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast or a sundowner. This is well screened to ensure your privacy. You can access a small private garden from the balcony. Downstairs, an outside dining table in the front of the house, also screen for your privacy, is a great spot to enjoy a relaxed lunch.
A brand new Weber BBQ in the carport means you can cook even when it rains.
Enjoy stunning views across our secluded valley from your bed, private balcony, or the outside eating area. Explore the South Coast’s beautiful beaches, shops and cafes in nearby Gerringong, Berry and Kiama.

Guest access
Please respect our privacy and don't walk in the garden around our house. Please also respect the privacy of the guests in the second Airbnb by the creek and try not to walk right past it. Please don't walk into any of the smaller paddocks or any of the sheds.

Other things to note
It is a working farm with a long (800 m) driveway which can get badly affected by the weather. It is not suitable for low cars. The driveway does have cow poo on it so if you cannot cope with a dirty car this place is not for you.
We care deeply about the environment and hope that you do too. It is part of the house rules to compost and recycle, we provide a house manual to explain how to do it.
Farming is not a 9-5 enterprise and sometimes we have to use machinery, mowers, chainsaws etc on weekends.
Like everywhere in the Australian countryside snakes live on our property too. However you very rarely see them.

Neighborhood highlights

Our 140 acre farm is in beautiful Rose Valley close to Gerringong. We are quite private, you can only see one other house from our farm. The driveway is 800 m long and quite rough in places. Not suitable for low cars. Cows can be on the driveway so please drive carefully and watch out for them.
Gerringong and Kiama are only 10 min away, Berry about 15 min. There are lots of beautiful cafes, restaurants and shops. Kiama, Gerringong and Gerroa have beautiful beaches. Please check out the local websites for the many things to see and do during your stay.

We are tree changers from Sydney who realised our long held dream to live on the land with lots of animals. Stuart has a business half an hour away and travels a lot nationally and internationally. I look after the farm, children and animals. We enjoy travelling and meeting new people. We like to look after the land, plant trees and get rid of invasive weeds. It is a very long term project and we are enjoying the journey.
