Where you’ll be

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Harfield Village is a popular and well-known community in Claremont. It's close enough to the larger business in Claremont for convenience, but offers a smaller community with a main road lined with excellent restaurants and shops.

Once a year, the main road of Harfield Village, is filled with art and street food with it's annual festival.

The micro-brewery scene is well-represented... and a Harfield beer tastes better when in Harfield.

My work: Ceramic Artist and Materials Engineer
Speaks English and German
I'm a ceramic artist and well-known Cape Town figure - the rooms in my guesthouse are named after some of the giants in the pottery world, upon which my dwarf-self now stands. I'm also known for being an inventor. It's my joy and pleasure to create space for visitors to my gallery, studio and guesthouse to enjoy thoughts and flights of fancy. I can't live without porcelain clay, pots of exotic tea and new ideas. And I'll regale you with stories of the unknown, unusual world facts and advice on just about anything under the sun. I'm well connected with the sub-cultures of Cape Town - should you have an extraordinary social needs, I am able to make an introduction :) Speak to me about my Cape Town ceramic tours, we visit the studios of some of Cape Town's finest potters. Or for street art join a Coffee Beans Route's tour, which I often lead. I look forward to your arrival...
