A comfortable, cozy, private and secluded cabin for up to two guests. Our cabin is overlooking the Knik River Valley and Knik Glacier and offers spectacular views. The cabin is located a moderate 250 step hike from our parking area including two outdoor sets of steps so, self check-in is not an option.

The space
This "dry" cabin (no indoor plumbing) is one room with a covered deck and nearby outhouse. It is furnished with a queen size bed, mini-fridge, and single burner induction cooktop, microwave oven and cooking and eating utensils. Fresh ground coffee is included with the 4 cup coffee maker. Equipped with a tank of potable water for drinking and cooking. We have outdoor sun/camp showers on request May-Aug (towels provided). Side deck has a propane barbecue. Windows are outfitted with blackout blinds. Public showers and laundry are located 9 miles away. There is a security camera at the cabin parking area.

This is a residential area and we respect the privacy of our neighbors. We are on the edge of the wilderness and we have frequent visitors of moose, bear, lynx, and many other animals and birds. Guests must maintain a safe distance from all wildlife.
