Relax with the whole family at this private nature retreat. The Five O'clock Lodge is set back in the woods, abutting over 850 acres of state conservation land. Yet, the home is within walking distance to all that Pinecrest Lake & Golf Country Club has to offer including an outdoor heated pool, lakeside beach, tennis courts, paddle boat slip, clubhouse restaurant, walking trails, skating pond, volleyball, cross country skiing, and golf course (additional greens fees apply).
The historic town of Pocono Pines is in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, and represents a pleasing mix of charm and modernity. Proximity to attractions such as Kalahari Waterpark, Pocono Raceway, Mount Airy Casino, Pocono Outlets, and Jack Frost, Big Boulder, & Camelback Mountain Ski Resorts make for a true four seasons getaway.
The Five O'clock Lodge is family friendly. For the little ones, there is a portable crib, high chair, child proof dishware, and toys. For older children, there are board games, video games, karaoke, smart TVs in every room, and plenty of space to run around and explore outside. The open floor plan encourages family gatherings, but offers quiet corners for guests of all ages to unwind.
For those who work remotely, the home boasts a full remote work set-up, including dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset, and USB hub. Additionally, the home features the fastest available Wi-Fi in the Poconos. Just bring your laptop and plug-in.

The space
Overall:
★HVAC- The home boasts a newly installed, dual zone, central heating and cooling system.
★Security System- The home includes a full security system with keyless entry, 24-hour police/fire monitoring, carbon monoxide and smoke detector.
★Garage- Note that the garage is used for storage and will not be available for guests.
★Hot Water- The home has a newly intalled tankless water heater. Guests never run out of hot water, regardless of the number of showers.
First Floor:
★Kitchen- The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking including dishwasher, pots, pans, bakeware, toaster, waffle maker, crockpot, pantry, and coffee/tea station (coffee, tea, sugar and creamer provided). The kitchen also boasts a breakfast bar that seats four.
★Dining Area- There is an eight person dining table and buffet. Also included is a portable high chair. Note: There is a pellet stove in the dining area that we kindly ask guests not to use.
★Great Room- The great room boasts couches to seat six comfortably, a large screen smart TV, and a propane fireplace.
★Master Bedroom- The bright and spacious master bedroom includes a king size bed, portable crib, smart TV, and master bath with walk-in shower, dual vanity, and soaking tub (toiletries included).
★Foyer- A keypad allows for easy access in and out. There are also plenty of hooks for hanging beach towels in the summer and coats in the winter.
★Powder Room- The powder room provides an extra space for guests to freshen up.
★Mud Room- The full sized washer and dryer offer an extra convenience, especially for longer stays.
Second Floor:
★Loft- The loft provides a quiet area where guests can retreat to read a book, play a board game, or plug into the workstation which includes dual monitors, headset, and USB hub.
★Second and Third Bedrooms- Both of these rooms provide queen sized beds, a smart TV, nightstand with lamp, and dresser.
★Bunk Room- The extra large bunk room accommodates up to six guests, with one twin over full bunk, and another twin over twin bunk with twin sized trundle. Also included are a dresser and smart TV.
★Upstairs Bathroom: The upstairs bathroom contains a full linen closet with plenty of towels and a combo shower/tub (toiletries included).
Exterior:
★Screened in Porch- The back porch includes a table for four.
★Firepit- The large fire pit offers wooded seclusion and includes a fire bucket, smore sticks and sandwich toasters (wood not provided).
★Grill- A full sized Weber grill makes it easy to prepare a large meal (propane not provided)
