Hello and welcome to my Airbnb page. I am an artist and full time resident of a farm cottage on the spectacular north west cliffs of Cornwall. My little Garden Caravan sleeps two cosy people who have the use of bathroom and shower in the main house (there is a cassette loo in the caravan but I ask you to use it for nighttime liquids only please!) The Caravan is extremely private and has distant sea views - bearing in mind we are 300ft up a Cornish cliff! You will have your own very private garden with seatings and table. There is a rustic barbecue in your garden (its very rustic!!)! I provide light feather continental quilts and sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. Because the beds are also your sofas you will need to make them up daily into a choice of 2 singles (2ft 6”) or a kingsize which is made by pulling out a support from the little chest of drawers and spinning the sofa seats through 90 degrees. It’s really easy!! The beds will be made up as two singles on arrival. Just a point worth mentioning, this is a little caravan; it’s not very tall and the beds are 6ft as singles. There is a single plate induction hob in the Caravan and all the usual cooking utensils, a chiller fridge and a freezer drawer is available in the main house. Access to a washing machine and line dryer. The caravan runs entirely on electric, no gas is kept anywhere on the premises. If you have never caravanned before this would be an excellent first experience - without the worry of towing. If you are experienced campers - well take a step up off the ground and see if you like it!!! I’m really sorry not to take doggies as I myself have a cat and a very nervous collie - loves people, terrified of other dogs! A Bite To Eat 3 miles away in Pendeen are a couple of lovely “locals” pubs, The Radjel and the North Inn, both serving great pub food. The Gurnards Head towards Zennor is a walking mile over the fields and is a wonderful eatery - a large bright orange building outstanding in the landscape! A little further east is the comfortable village of Zennor with its C16 church and the famous Mermaid of Zennor whose portrait sits at the end of one of the church pews. Opposite the church is - IMHO the best pub in Cornwall… The Tinners Arms. Also in Zennor the lovely little Moomaid Cafe - selling Moomaid Ice Cream made from milk from the cows you can see all around the village. St Ives and St Just are 7 miles away in either direction and the busy market town of Penzance is just 5 miles over the moorland hills. Places To Visit Many, many, many galleries - none better than any others. St Ives for its history and Indi shops; Trengwainton NT garden and - just out of Penwith, the beautiful St Michael’s Mount. Take a helicopter ride to Scilly for the day or a day cruise on RMS Scillonian III both out of Penzance. We are on The Tin Coast - a designated site of Historical Heritage. Visit Geevor tin mines and especially the only working Cornish Beam Engine in the world at Levant (NT). Wildlife: Choughs, dolphins, basking shark, more dolphins, ravens, Wildlife Rescue ponies, other dolphins, fulmar, gannets…. And did I mention the dolphins??

During your stay
You will be staying in part of my garden and as such, we will see as much or as little of each other as you wish. I am on hand should you have any problems or need to know something about the locality. Just knock the inside door in the kitchen. If it’s locked, I’m probably out…. Hunny the dog will bark, but ignore her…... If I’m having a G&T in the yard, you are welcome to join me but as I have no license to sell alcohol, it’s BYO 🥂💜
