Come, give peace a chance…escape the city and breathe in some mountain air and take in nature on our very private six acres. Enjoy our Mountain View, amazing sunsets and magical stargazing.

Our home offers two beautiful bedrooms comfortably sleeping four with one full bathroom. Wake up with a view from every room and spend your early evenings on the front deck enjoying a sunset cocktail.

The space
Harvest Moon Acres is a private getaway on 6 private acres. Some special features we enjoy are the outdoor firepit, large deck with grill, indoor fireplace, high speed internet, record player, and washer/dryer.

Our Master suite is on the main floor with a King bed and our lofted second bedroom includes a Queen bed and moonlight views, accessible via spiral stair case. Grocery store, liquor store, gas station and general store are within a 10 minute drive. The town of Hobart, noted as "The Book Village" has numerous antique book stores in their quaint village and is also a 10 minute drive. Close to all four Catskill ski mountains, Plattekill, Bellayre, Windham and Hunter. Enjoy their winter activities as well as other seasonal sun, including hiking, bike trails, golfing, world renowned fly-fishing, zip-lining and kayaking.

Our property is in Stamford, “The Queen of the Catskills”. Our little town is booming offering two coffee shops, general store, outpost shopping and new farm to table restaurant as well as other local businesses. The neighboring town of Hobart is renowned as the “Book Village” offering over 8 unique bookstores and an English Pub The Bull and Garland.

The Catskills scenic trail can be accessed by several locations close to the cabin offering 26 miles of groomed trails for hiking, biking and snowmobiling.

We are in the Catskill Mountains with scenic views, lots of streams and lakes for fishing and kyacking, as well as numerous farms with cows, goats, sheep, horses and ponies that can be viewed while driving the very scenic roads.
