The Black A-frame is a two bed two bath 1961 cabin set on a private road in the heart of the Catskills in Kerhonkson, NY. It was named the "Coolest A-frame in NY" by the New York Post in 2020. Relax in the open dinning room with original wood ceilings and beams and enjoy a home cooked meal made in the renovated chef's kitchen, or walk outdoors to soak in the magic of the Catskills through the endless wooded views from the back yard!

The space
Renovated 1960s off the grid solar powered modified A-frame, set on a private road in a private community, sprawling two acres of deeply wooded Catskill forests. The house features two full bedrooms, two baths as well as a very comfortable, cozy, open floor plan.

Outside features include a fire pit, large steel drum bbq grill, an extra long picnic table and screened in gazebo as well as a small spring fed pond and endless wooded views in the back yard.

My husband Grant and I poured our lives and souls into making our A-frames a wonder to stay in. We learned how to use nail guns and saws and many other things along the way, and built the vision into a reality. It was hard, and we know every board and every nail, and every piece of furniture intimately, but now we have the opportunity to share a wonderful space and experience with you. We hope you can come to love this place as much as we do.

The new horizons of our dream is to help others create great memories, then eventually build more dream spaces in the forests of the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson Valley of NY. Thank you for the opportunity to share what we love.
