Puerto Madero, located on the coast of the Río de la Plata, is one of the newest and most modern neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The neighborhood was built in the 19th century as a commercial port, but fell into disuse in the 20th century. In the 1990s, the city government began an ambitious renovation project in Puerto Madero, which turned the neighborhood into a world-class tourist and residential destination.

Today, Puerto Madero is a safe, vibrant and cosmopolitan area. The neighborhood offers a variety of amenities, including top-notch restaurants, shops, shopping malls, and green spaces. A few blocks away you can find the colorful Puente de la Mujer, the work of the artist Santiago Calatrava. Puerto Madero is a neighborhood that pays tribute to the outstanding women of our country. For this reason, its streets bear the names of women of science, arts, politics and culture.


In just a short walk, you can access the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve. This Nature Reserve is home to all kinds of vegetation and animal species. Walking or cycling is possible and provides direct access to Río de la Plata. In addition to having several parks, Puerto Madero has a pedestrian area bordering the different dikes, a very nice area to walk and enjoy the river and the outdoors.

Very close to your accommodation you can also find the 'Casino de Buenos Aires', a unique, internationally recognized floating casino.

Puerto Madero is also a very convenient neighborhood, with easy access to the main points of interest in Buenos Aires. The Casa Rosada and the Historic Center of the City can be accessed quickly. A few blocks away you can use the subway and the Metrobus, which brings together numerous bus lines.
