The space
Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room with kitchenette and Woodburning Stove, entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with private en suite shower room.

Through a door in the wall of the Victorian walled garden of our home is The Bothy, originally home to the workers that tended the gardens for the manor house, The Noak, and the horses in The Coach House. The Bothy sits in the gardens of the Coach House, a perfect haven for two.

Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with en suite shower room.

Your stay includes your own heated private Bothy; Wood for the wood burner; in-room mini-fridge, kettle & toaster; Microwave. Fresh (and super soft) towels and bedding; Flat-screen LCD TV with Netflix logged in; FREE Wi-Fi; FREE bread, butter, milk, sugar, tea, coffee; Mini hob; slow cooker and cookbooks; There's a lovely patio outside your front door with bistro table and chairs.

The bed I've been told by many a friend that it's super comfy; Lovely warm duvet, choice of pillows and extra blankets. Free parking on the private drive.

Behind The Bothy, through a slightly overgrown part of the garden that we haven't quite started to tend yet, is a working farm. If you're here at harvest time you may hear some noise from the harvesters but it's always short lived and adds to the country feel. Of course if you're here during lambing season, you will hear the newborn lambs saying hello to the world, take a look at some of the photos as our family said hello this spring! An incredible time of year to visit!

During the end of summer the garden is full of apple, plum, pear, damson and figs which you're welcome to pick. And of course the flowers are in full bloom and the garden looks lovely. It's not perfect, definitely a work in progress, but lovely nontheless. Autumn and winter leave the garden looking slightly more sparse as you'd expect but with that the walks from here that time of year are stunning with the sun low in the sky and the colours the ever changing landscape offers.

Beyond the farm, and at the end of the garden are sweeping fields with public footpaths that take you to stunning views. Just ask for guidance and we have left several maps ready.

There's great walks and easy access to the well know Worcestershire Way Walk (33miles in total,) but not compulsory! You can do bits of it according to how much you're in the mood for!

If you're traveling light and want to keep it that way we have a selection of wellies you can choose from if the weather requires it. Plus toiletries in your en suite and if you use the washer we have washing liquids and softeners for you to use. If you're unsure please just ask! Or if you forget a toothbrush or anything let me know I may have a spare (in packet don't worry!)

You have your own self contained room with en suite shower room and wood burning stove so you'll have your own cosy space to cuddle up in! We won't enter your space at all during your stay. Although you won't have absolute access to our home, you'd be welcome to use the washer/dryer-see extra details. We have tried to ensure you have everything you need to make your holiday easy and enjoyable from the start-The bothy has a fridge and kettle and toaster, plus mini hob and a slow cooker. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread and butter are provided.

We will be here some of the time and The Bothy is in the garden of our home so you will probably see us coming and going. We will ultimately leave you to enjoy your break but will be easily accessible should you need us!
If you're staying for a week or more we will arrange to change the linen and towels and to do a surface clean at a time that is convenient for you.

We are on the edge of a small village, very much in the countryside. The village has a shop, pub and post office within walking distance (less than 10 mins there, slightly more back as it's uphill that way!) There are several pubs within a couple of miles which are more appropriate for a drive or a bike ride.

Closest supermarket is on the edge of Worcester roughly 7 miles.

There's golf within 8 miles, walks from a few miles up to the famous Worcestershire Way of 33 miles in total. Fishing within 5 miles. There's a lovely walk to the River Teme in around 20-25 minutes.

The Malvern Hills are around 20 minutes drive and some of the most famous villages in The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are within an hour or so drive.

I have lots of extra info for you when you arrive if you want it, along with an online guidebook that I'll send a link to duringthe run up to your stay I'm happy to help you find the activity you're looking for !

You can get here by bus from Worcester if you're traveling in on the train as there is a bus service into and from Worcester. We are about 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from Birmingham airport. Around 1hr 45 minutes drive from Bristol Airport.
If you need a lift please always ask, we'd be happy to help where possible.
