Alsenbygden is beautifully situated with a view of the mountains. In Alsen, Wången, a high school for horse training. But there's also an excellent inn. You can visit Gløse petroglyphs and Älghallen and learn about how the hunter-aged people lived. Hembygdsföreningens Backgården has an open summer cafe and also Christmas and Easter
market.
There is also a chocolate factory in Alsen called Tinas Praliner.
